About RaidOrganiser

Description

With RaidOrganiser, a guild leader can create 10 and 25 man raids, then drag and drop players into them. The guild leader can then click invite to invite all the people in one raid.

Instructions

  • Type "/ro" in-game to show RaidOrganiser
  • Click "Create 10" or "Create 25" and choose a name
  • Drag players from the guild list into the raid slots
  • Click invite

Upcoming Features

  • Synchronisation with officers (multiple people planning raids at the same time)
  • Making it more obvious which raid you have selected
  • Splitting the guild list up into role (tank/healer/melee/ranged)
  • Custom filters/sort in the guild list
  • Show total of each role per raid/overall
  • Settings GUI
  • News feed to show who's come online/signed recently?
  • Show how many tanks/healers etc are needed to complete currently open raids

    Unfortunately there are no names showing up the Guild List. Any thoughts?

    is it possible to change the Setup? eg. 2 Tanks and 5 healers in 25man? or if i just need 6 melees and more Ranged?

    The setup is only a guideline. If you only need 2 tanks for a specific raid then just drag a dps into one of the tank slots.

    When I finish coding the overhaul of features im trying to add, I may be able to add that to the settings (we'll see).

    If you have time and wouldn't mind, add one window called "standby" that we can type a char name into and a remove player button,and have it saved to the saved variable (simlar to how you have the raid groups saved) that way we can add guild and non-guild members too it. so we can make the list of people bigger or smaller and still have the easy drag and drop frame work of your addon to form raids

    Possible to add a few slots for 'bench' players? Getting tired of swapping between two raids.

    And would you prefer these extra slots to be on each raid or in a window of their own?

    A separate window with an option to invite those players on an individual basis would be pretty helpful. So you Mass invite your core raid group, then when you realize someone isn't on, you go to the bench list and invite someone from there to fill in the needed spot.

    I love the addon, but i was wondering if you can add a feature to it, where i can type in someone's name. i don't have enough guild members on all the time, but i would love to be able to set up pugs groups with it.

    Hmm yeh, I can add something along those lines.
    I'm not working on this until the end of this week (which is when I'll be coding as many of the upcoming features as possible)

    Lol it only has a Z in it if your American, English everywhere else in the world (well wherever its taken its influence from England and not America) spells words like Organise with an S, same as colour, its color for americans. Btw im Aussie (Australian) and we use the same sort of spelling :)Hope that clears it up for anyone else who might get confused. Its not a typo, its intentional.

    Don't know if it's a typo or intentional but.. organize has a z in it.
