Shades the area of all Northrend and Outland maps with the location of Rare Spawns.
Commands:
/rso [on/off/toggle]
Hover over map legend for description of the rare mob.
This addon is best used in conjunction with _NPCSCAN

why is it i cant use it?? itrying to do /rso on... and its say i cant?? any1 thre can help?
one of the better addons i have used, but the one nuisances that I have is the path shown for the blatantly obvious Alani in Mists of Pandaria's Vale of Eternal Blossoms. Though yes, Alani is a "rare spawn" as denoted by a silver dragon, I find the inclusion of its path redundant as it can be seen by just about anybody, even those with a graphics setting of shitty. One could use my complaint as an argument for TLPD or Aeonaxx, but both of them are smaller sized mobs with either select spots or more defined paths versus Alani's more "I'm just gonna wander wherever" style path. In all though, an awesome addon that I suggest to anybody.
Please make an overlay for the 1-60 area's!:D
Hey folks,
The intention of my maintaining this project was only to make it work for WOTLK. I had no intention of adding new features or data. This continues to be my standpoint as Blizzard has not made new achievements for the rarespawns in Cataclysm. If you want something comprable and continuously updated I'd highly recommend the Addon:
_NPCScan.Overlay

Doesn't work. /rso on.... nothing shows.
The map overlays only show up in Outland and Northrend.
Somehow I dont get this to work, it wont even show up in my ingame addon list. Anyone know if there is interferance with some other addon maybe?
It looks like I did a bad job zipping up the file. I'll upload a nicer version shortly.
Updated for 4.3. Sorry for the lack of updates. I'll be working on adding Cata rarespawns soon.

i found all the rare spawn in about 3 day with this
