About Raven Filter: Leila

Raven Filter: Leila will add a 'Spell list' dropdown menu to the Buff and Debuff tab of Raven Bar Groups.
It was written to avoid translation problems because the buffs added by spell ID will be translated in every Language.
I was inspired by Satrina Buff Frames 3 which had a simmilar option. I also use this plugin in LeilaUI if you need an Setup exampe or Raven SavedVariables.

This Spell Lists now includes over 530 Spell ID's:

  • Raid Debuffs = Special Raid debuffs, Dungeon debuffs, crowd controls castet on Player
  • Target Debuffs = Target crowd controls (e.g. Polymorph) and Absorb effekts (e.g. Dispersion, Fear Ward)
  • FlaskFoodWeapon Buffs = Shaman and Rouge weapon enchants, Flask, Food, Alchemy Buffs
  • Special Buffs = Class/Race specific buffs, trinket procs, Potions
  • Pala+Priest Buffs = Special Raidbuffs (e.g. Guardian Spirit) and Absorb effects (e.g. Ice Block)
  • manaSpells = Mana Spells will be shown in Special Buffs only if you are Paladin, Priest, Druid, Shaman, Mage or Warlock.

Hints

This plugin supports all Classes, Specs and the latest Raids and Dungeons,
if there is any spell missing please write in the Comments!

You want to add or remove Spells by yourself?

Just open the .lua file with a Text Editor:

Add spells by name: 12345, 23456, 34567
Add spells by exact spell id: "#12345", "#23456", "#34567",

You can use idTip or wowhead URLs to find out Spell IDs.

Thanks for your kind words. Yes its hard to stop using SBF especially because it was programmed very user friendly and you now know how to setup everything with it easy. But Raven has become an even more amazing Addon with more options and possibilities. And as you can see on this Addon the author is much interested in making his addon the one and only you need for buffs debuffes and cooldowns :)

As soon as MoP Beta works with addons I'll begin with writing down the new spell ids :)

I am going to run this through the ringer and provide feedback.  I just wanted to stop and thank you so much for putting the time into this.  I have squeezed as much as I could from SBF, but you can see it isn't going to be picked up and updated.  I want to get rid of it and start working with something else before MoP comes and completely destroys it.  I really appreciate all of the hardwork that went in on your end putting it in such a neat and clean setup.  I now have no reason not to pick up and try Raven.

Is it weird that I needed something like this to try an Addon that is probably very good in it's own right?
