About Redeemer

Redeemer by Ryplinn-Kargath(US)

Welcome to Redeemer! This mod makes you say humorous messages whenever you cast a resurrection spell and serves purely to entertain you and annoy others.

Enjoy!

To select which channels to send Redeemer quotes to, use the /redeemer command.

If you'd like to add in your own messages, feel free to edit the RedeemerQuotes.lua file.

If you make changes to the RedeemerQuotes.lua file, make sure to delete your per-server SavedVariables (World of Warcraft/WTF/Account/[your account]/SavedVariables/Redeemer.lua). This will become unnecessary in future versions.

    i have to admit with kazim that the ' you are all failures ' and ' this is clearly not my fault ' are a bit too hostile , and i think we would all agree those should be changed or edited to be more innocent cuz i keep getting peeps wanting to kick me out of groups because of it , there are simply not amused by that , and agree all see humor differently but experience tells me about  70% +- are pissed after seeing those 2 particular lines , other ones are good and funny like ' rocks fell ' ... , can you pls help us ? since we wont all be poking in addon files lol

    Question about Warlock minions...
    I used to get Quotes when summoning minions, but now i do not.
    i have made sure the mod is loaded.
    when I looked at the lua for the quotes, I did not see any for warlock.
    Were they removed?

    Redeemer has never included quotes for warlock minions. Those would come from another addon.

    Different people have different ideas regarding humor. I can not and do not try to please everyone, and I encourage all users to customize quotes to their liking.

    The issue with empty quote categories throwing Lua errors has been fixed as of the latest version.

    Thanks for using Redeemer! A couple of questions:

    1) Do you get errors when casting resurrection spells without Redeemer installed?

    2) When you have Redeemer installed, does the "Redeemer is locked and loaded!" chat message appear when you log in?

    3) Which classes and spells are you using?

    Hi just like to let you know that today i now keep getting a error message when i try using ressurection spells i have tried unstalling and reinstalling and still i get errors and then it doesn't work... please can you update this so it can work correctly once more as i think it is a wonderful add-on

    Anyone else having issues since 4.22? I've tried reinstalling multiple times but it does not seem to be working at all.

    Revive Pet issue.
    In the code:
    if (PET_NAME) then
    Redeemer_Quotes("Hunter", PET_NAME);
    else
    SendChatMessage("Pet Name unknown!");
    end
    I took out the If statement and left Redeemer_Quotes("Hunter", PET_NAME);
    but replaced PET_NAME with arg4...
    It works now, but it doesnt get the pets name for the %t argument in the quotes

    just thought I'd share my partial solution
