About REPorter - Battleground Map

Features:

  • Slim and readable overview of current battleground.
  • Allows you to quickly send reports. About the current position or any other on the map.
  • Capture timers of all battleground nodes are tracked.
  • Health of the gates is visible on Isle of Conquest and Strand of the Ancients.
  • Winner estimator will provide you time left to end of battleground.
  • Synchronizes the state of the battle between REPorter users.
  • Low memory usage.

Keybinds:

  • Hold Shift + Alt to hide all player blips and show node timers/gate health.
  • Click any node to open report menu.
  • Click score estimator to send it to battleground channel.

Known limitations:

  • If player join IoC/SotA that is already in progress REPorter will try get current gate health levels from other REPorter users. If it fail to synchronize - All values that might be incorrect will be shown in red. Additionally some reports will be disabled to prevent sending incorrect data to other players.
  • Deepwind Gorge estimator might don't work correctly.
  • If for some reason you want force REPorter to work in English language mode open Locals directory and delete your language file.

TODO:

  • Allow sending some crucial BG data between users of REPorter.
  • Add options to resize map.
  • And many, many other smaller things...

    Looked promising...but had to uninstall due to lack of support.

    The map is immobile. It just sits there, smack dab in the middle of my screen. Can't see unless I make it transparent, but then, it's kind of pointless to use.

    I just move it by going to interface -->addons tab. There's a box you can uncheck to lock/unlock it. But I agree it'd be much nicer if I didn't have to do that for each bg I enter.

    Myself and others are experiencing a recurring issue where the map freezes in place. Generally, hitting "M" twice (open and closing main map) reslves the issue, at least temporarily. This workaround does not always work, however.

    Also, is this addon still being actively supported and/or updated? 5.4.2 as of this writing, last action by author appears to be 4 months ago.

    Well I don't played WoW for over 2 years.
    I still try to update my addons when they are completly broken by update. But I admit - that is all. I just can't debug more specific issues.

    Hi,

    I really love this addon, I think it's one of the most important for rated bg, and I thank you 1000 times for your very good work.

    There's just one little option that could make it more perfect for me, it's the ability to choose where to send the reports: I'd like to send it to the /rw (raid warning), it would be very usefull because some players don't read the chat when they're fighting...

    Where can I edit the configuration files to achieve this ? Or is it simply impossible ?

    Thanks again for this wonderfull addon, and please, pardon me for my poor english.

    Please do NOT add /RW announce functionality to the addon. It will be immediately and endlessly abused by the kiddies.

    Like the addon, but was wondering if in future updates would you be able to move the map and the "1,2,3,4,5 help,clear" bar sepreatly, so i can have the map at my bottom right coner but the buttons on another side of my screen?

    Thanks for this awesome mod. Would recommend also an option to chang opacity of the map. Also would be great if you could make the chat reports more condensed and remove the [REPorter] out of the line. I don't use the chat notifications because of the advertisement for the addon.

    I was just wondering if it would be possible to somehow replace standard map in the top right corner with this addon... Is it possible to make the map of the addon round? I'm using SexyMap and it would be extremely cool for this addon to appear in the top right corner
