* IMPORTANT *
How to fix most RoguePowerBars related problems.

Solution A:

  1. When you are not logged into wow, open your "World of Warcraft/WTF/Account/<Your Account>/SavedVariables/" folder and locate RoguePowerBars.lua.
  2. Move the RoguePowerBars.lua to another folder or rename it to a different name.
  3. This will reset your RoguePowerBars settings to defaults. Log into wow and see if you are still having problems.
  4. If this fixes your problems please send Verik a copy of the old RoguePowerBars.lua via Private message or a ticket so I can try to fix this bug.

Solution B:

  1. Disable all addons other than RoguePowerBars and your error message tool (!Swatter/!BugGrabber+BugSack/etc)
  2. Login to wow and see if the problem is fixed. (make sure you aren't reading an old error that your error tool has saved from before)
  3. If RoguePowerBars is working correctly then you most likely have a conflict with another addon. Slowly reenable addons till you find the addon that causes RoguePowerBars to break. Report the addon and addon version with a copy of the error, if there is one, to Verik to narrow down the problem.
  • If neither of these fix your problem please create a ticket.

Hi I just started using this again in 4.3 and I have the latest version, it works ok except the debuffs all appear in the same section as Buffs...

Anyone know why? Cant get the Debuffs to show in the Debuff section at all. They just show in the Buff section

  • #798

Please for the love of all things gaming keep this mod working lol Much love for this add on

  • #796

So this is by far the best add i've used...I'm wondering though if it will work for other classes, or if you have one for other classes as well? It's the best and easiest to use that i've run across, and I would love the add even more if I could customize it for each class. anyone know of good add's if this one isn't fully customizable.

    Suggestion

Can you add the ability to view the combo points on at the bottom of the buff bar?  I keep my buff's in view on top of my toon, but still have to use a separate mod to see my combo points.  Be nice to have them all in one awesome mod like this one.

    - Combo Points and Energy Bar option please (selectable between the two if only wanting one enabled).

    Doesn't work with LUI v3

  • #793

I can't use it on 4.3. Evertime stuck on load. :(

  • #792

Just to let everyone know, it is working fine under 4.3 (you may need to check "load out of date AddOns").  A good thing, because I'd really hate playing without this!

Hey! thanks for this great addon, I've been using it for a long time and I just love it :D

Recently I respeced to subtlety and I had the common trouble with Hemorrhage and the bleeding provided by the glyph. Is there a way to track to spell ID or something to only track the bleeding?

Thank you very much in advance!

I've had the same issue and I've found a workaround.  Unfortunately, it involves modifying the addon's lua file, but fortunately it's only two lines worth.

Both modifications are in RoguePowerBars.lua.  You want to replace lines 285 and 296 with (respectively) the following:

    name, rank, texture, count, buffType, duration, expirationTime, caster, isStealable, shouldConsolidate, spellID = UnitAura(set.target, buffIndex, set.filter);

if name and spellID ~= 16511 then

The first line obtains the spellID for the debuff while the second filters out the non-bleed hemo debuff.

Is this working on the latest patch?  4.2

    Cheers!

Is there a way to fix lag spike with this awesome addon?

Whenever I target and un-target, I get lag spike.

    Help please!

A Profile option would be awesome as I tend to use my configuration on the PTR and on an alt of the same class.

Still one of the best addons I've come across. my main is a rogue so this fit in perfectly. To supplement it I highly recommend StatusBars2
I have my health, energy, combopoints, enemy health and then this under them.
I loved it so much I finally (since vanilla) decided to play an alt to 85, a DK. I spent some time getting all those buffs and debuffs into rogue power bars as well.
Only thing Id like is a lil aggro addon next to enemy health in status bars and Im golden.

Since several people asked: RPB tracks personal buffs and debuffs. It is similar in a lot of respects to other mods out there, but this one has a lot of the things rogues like already built in. It tracks the duration of buffs like AR, Envenom, Slice n Dice, etc., as well as temporary buffs you get from things like Heroism/Lust, trinkets, tier bonuses, etc. It also tracks debuffs on bosses, such as Deadly Poison, Exposed armor, and other class's debuffs like Trauma or Sunder.

The main reason I use it is it is infinitely customizable. You can add or delete what buffs/debuffs to use, you can prioritize how they are displayed (for example, I have SnD as highest priority, and colored differently so I always see it no matter what). You can change the size and location of the bars to fit within your UI, and as I mentioned earlier, you can even change the colors of each buff/debuff if you want to grab your attention to the things you find important.

I have yet to meet a rogue who has started using this mod who did not absolutely love it. Even with no updates (you can still load it as "out of date" with no issues), it is arguably one of the best addons a rogue can have. It is incredibly powerful and robust, yet relatively small... and above all, incredibly easy to use.
