About Scorchio! 2

Scorchio2 tracks Living Bomb, Nether Tempest, Ignite, Pyroblast, Slow, Combustion, Pyromaniac, 5% Spell Damage, and Polymorph on multiple mobs, and can give you warnings and notifications when the debuffs need reapplying, or have expired completely. Unlike many other DoT timer addons, it properly tracks DoT spreading from Inferno Blast. It can also provide bars for the following buffs/debuffs for the mage: Arcane Charge, Arcane Missiles!, Brain Freeze, Fingers of Frost, Heating Up, Invocation, Pyroblast!, and Flamestrike. Finally, it can also provide a cooldown bar for Frost Bomb and a bar for the duration of Mirror Images.

It is the continuation of Scorchio! and replaces that addon.

Use /scorchio2, or the Blizzard Addons Configuration window to configure Scorchio2.

Localization Help Needed!

Lots of work has gone into translation, but there's still some left to do. Localizations are easy to submit on the WowAce Localization Page, and help many users. Please help with this if you're able. And thanks to everyone who's helped so far!

Known Issues

  • Sometimes bars will be slow to appear. The timers are still correct though, and the warnings should be accurate.
  • If you kill a mob within the last 0.25 seconds of a vulnerability time, the "Vulnerability Faded" message will be played.

    I haven't had time to work on this in months. I'll try to find someone else to do it. It still works pretty well despite a few glitches, but obviously going forward it needs continued maintanence and I just never have the time anymore.

    It's the MoP daily quests and the heavy VP grind. :\ In Cata, I did addons between raids. I'd idle in town and check my auctions, while writing addons. I didn't do quests; the auctions got me gold, and I wrote addons at the same time. But in MoP I have to do quests, and other crap too, and after months of this it's clear that I never have time to do addons anymore. It's not like dailies take "a lot of time", but that's the time I had, and it's gone now.

    For some odd reason the Invocation buff isn't always tracked. Sometimes Scorchio doesn't show the bar for the buff even though I can see my char has the Invocation buff. Maybe something like because I stop evocation 0.2 sec before the complete evocation it's not tracked, even though I got the buff? Also experiencing the same problem for Heading Up. Sometimes Scorchio's bar for it just disappears after briefly showing the proc for a sec, even if I haven't used up the Heaing Up proc yet and it's still active. Similiarly for Frost Bomb, the cd is not always tracked.

    Just finished translations for Brazilian Portuguese. Some phrases ended up being a bit bigger than their english versions, so I hope nothing breaks.

    Would it be easy to add a border to the bars of this addon? I'd like to add something like a 1px border around the timer bars.

    With the newest update, even though I have Frost Bomb tracking disabled, it shows up anyway using the Nether Tempest tracker settings and icon.

    Living Bomb seems to be working correctly. I haven't tested Nether Tempest yet.

    I think I fixed this in an alpha version. I unfortunately don't know what went wrong in the first place; it always worked in my dev copy, but the repository got the wrong version of the code. :\

    It should work now though.

    I'm using the latest version and I'm also experiencing the bug where Frost Bomb's icon is using the Nether Tempest icon. The bar is blank with just the icon ie no words to say who the Frost Bomb is on. Also it doesn't always track the CD, only sometimes. 

    Is it possible to include a sound option for Nether Tempest? So that I can set a sound notification for when it comes off cd.

    I've reverted back to v1.3.4 and put this addon on my ignored list so that it cannot be updated .  It's not possible to truely maximize your DPS without knowing exactly when the frost bomb is going to explode.  If you're doing a challenge mode for example, you'll want to pet freeze right before it explodes and get a massive frost bomb explosion,  or in PVP time freezes, novas, or deep freezes in a timely manner.

    I have the CD tracked with a different addon, and what I really needed from scorchio is the duration.  Anyone who agrees can solve this problem by reverting to v1.3.4 and not updating the addon.

    I don't agree. The equivalence between the 3 bomb timers is important, so mages can swap their bomb freely and quickly, and have the mod still give them the information they need to do their rotation.

    "But I still need the Frost Bomb debuff timer for ______," is a good feature request though. Obviously the huge number of daily quests get in the way of me adding things as quickly as I'd like, but this does sound useful.

    6-stack Arcane Charge is not refreshed properly

    1. The remaining time is short than 10 seconds. I guess it is because the addon checks the completion of Acrane Blast / Acrane Missiles, and the spell completion event is triggered earler than the charge being refreshed.

    2. Acrane Explosion also refresh the charge.
