About Scrap (Junk Seller)


Scrap sells all your junk when you visit a merchant. What makes it different from other junk selling addons? Mainly, it is:

Our apologies, but this will be better for the users on a long term.
  • Added a new module: Scrap Merchant, which will make the Scrap merchant button load on demand. What does this means? Faster loading and less use of memory and cpu on startup.

    I'm wondering if I could help out with some German translations, but it looks like the phrases and stuff on Curseforge localization don't match the current version. Is this still the right place to start?

    I've ended up giving up on the curseforge system, as I had to manually update that database on every version and manually copy all your translations. The more time I spend on maintenance, the less I spend on features.
    You can go to your Addons Folder -> Scrap -> Localization -> en.lua and open that file on WordPad/TextEdit. All the phrases are there. "de.lua" contains the already localized german phrases.

    Alright. Can you turn off the localization tool over there at Cursefore? It might confuse other people, too.

    I'm not certain about the phrase "Toggle item under cursor as junk". What it does exactly... and where it happens (keybinding)? Does it flag the item as "junk" or actually toggles the junk status on/off?

    Thanks for the great addon. I wonder if there is any command to enable self payments for repairs? I get the "dont have permission" message whenever I try to repair since the addon is using the guild bank by default. Thanks!

    Now the addon will autorepair using guild money if they are available or your own money if access from the guild bank has been denied. It will also let you know which money it used for the repairs. If the guild bank doesnt have enough money it will also use your own money for repairs.


    Basicly what I want to do is reverse Tindornial's default behavior (repair using character money first, with guild money as a backup). I havent learned lua yet (yes, I probably should), I know some basic coding but I keep geeting turned around reading this. Any help/sugestions would be appreciated.

    Something that would be nice to have in this neat addon would be a more easier way to set items as junk. Right now I have to drag and drop each item onto the icon for the future vendor visits. Is it possible we could see a "hold down "insert key here" then press item you wish to set as junk" feature?
