About Sell-O-Matic2

The purpose of this mod is to help selling items in an easier way than just clicking all of them in the merchant.

How to use it

As simple as going near a merchant and opening his/her trade window, then you can click on the sell button (money icon). By default the addon only sells junk items (poor quality items).

Options

  • Auto sell: Allows the addon to automatically sell the items as soon as you open the merchant window, usefull if you want to sell your items fast.
  • Preview: The addon will show a confirmation box and the items that would be sold so you can check the items before selling them.
  • Information type: Controls the amount of information the addon will output in the chat frame. You can choose full or lite.

Modules

The addon has several modules that can be activated or deactivated to fit your needs. This can be done from the addon's list in the character selection screen. By default all modules are disabled.

  • SellOMatic_Item: This module helps you sell items based on its quality and item level.
  • SellOMatic_List: This module helps you sell or save items using sell and save lists.
  • SellOMatic_Destroy: This module helps you destroy junk items.
  • SellOMatic_Class: This module helps you sell BoP items you can't use.

You can have any combination of them activated, from none to all.

Commands

/sellomaticOpens the configuration window
/somSame as /sellomatic

Localization

If you want to help with the localization of the addon feel free to use the localization tool

Upgrading from Sell-O-Matic

If you're upgrading from Sell-O-Matic, uninstall that version first and do a fresh install of Sell-O-Matic2.

Version a028 changes the directory layout to proper SellOMatic2 folder, if you're upgrading from a previous axxx version, please do a fresh install of a028.

    Has anyone run into issues auto-selling fortune cards?  I've added them to the list, but they do not appear to auto-sell??

    Please, check if the item is displayed in the sell list when you run /som showlist. Also check the list options to enable the ones needed to sell the item you want to. You can check the option's info in the item module page (under description). If you keep having problems please post them to see how can we fix them.

    I cannot get this addon to work. I have tried complete re-install with client and manually. I can see the button to sell at venodr but can't see addon under interface and command-line codes don't work.

    Could you please check if the addon is loaded (green) or it appears in red in the addon panel in the character selection screen? It seems weird that the button loads but the rest doesnt.

    Also, do you get any kind of error when the game loads or you try to push the button?

    The addon is working 100%, no errors. I just needed the Ace3 Library.

    Wow.....It was my bad. When I had cleaned out my addons I got rid of Ace3 library....Just installed and now the addon works perfectly...Sorry!

    My browser is acting funny sorry if this double posts:

     

    The modules lettering is green on the character screen.  Just turned LUA errors on and got this when openning the vendor:

    Got the same problem here. If i tick the item options Sell white, it wants to sell everything, herbs ores picks and so on

    If you tick Sell white in the items module, you're telling the addon to sell all white/common items in your inventory. If you have trouble configuring the addon please read the entire description of each module to understand it better.

    Also if you find any problem with the addon behaviour, feel free to use the ticket system to report it. You can find a link to it in the description of the addon.

    I have not used some of the other functions but I have only used the filter to sell the gray items and it works fine for me.   I just needed something simple to mass sell instead of click, click, click.  Thank you.

    The problem in the module SOM_item.
    If I sell a lot of green items can sell out the blue item, despite the fact that blue item itemlevel> iLevelValue. For example, when selling a lot of http://wowhead.com/item=52306 can sell http://wowhead.com/item=52310

    Will take a look at it. If you're only using SOM_Item shouldn't be a problem. Could you please confirm you aren't using SOM_List with "Jasper Ring" as one of the items in the sell list? That could explain why you sell the blue ones also...

    If you're just using SOM_Item, could you please post the options of that module?

    List doesn't seem to work for me. I added water to sell list, checked everything in list module except "use ilevel" and "Case sensitive list" and still it doesnt want to sell the water. Same with save list: i added one grey item to save list and it's still sold

    Can you give me the exact name of the items?

    Also try typing "/som showlist" and see if the items you're trying to sell/save are displayed there.
