About SexyMap

Make your minimap ubersexah! SexyMap is a minimap awesomification mod, supporting:

  • Minimap moving, and movement of things like the quest tracker and durability frame.
  • Customization of zone text & clock
  • Hiding of all buttons attached to the minimap (can be set to be always hidden, or to show on minimap hover)
  • Sexy minimap border options, extremely configurable, with several slammin' presets.

    HUD map keybind

    when you bind a key for the hud map it does not just bind the one key you want, if you hit the wrong button to bind and go to change it, any button you use is added, i have like 6 buttons now that will change to hud map... plz fix love the add on other wise

    Waypoint Arrows

    How come no waypoint arrows seem to function properly with the SexyMap HUD? It stops tracking distance and doesn't point in the right direction.

    It would really help me make sure I'm going in the right direction when using the HUD and Routes to do gathering. Unless there is some option to make it work that I'm missing.

    BTW: I'm trying to use TomTom for this. If there's another arrow that will work better, I'm open.

    My LFG/Dungeon/PvP button has flat out disappeared from the minimap (little green circle) since the last update, I cannot get it to return. Period. How was something like this overlooked by you guys? It has already cost me two hours of time due to not being able to re-enter a raid.

    The effects around the map isnt showing for me... and i cant choose a new present couss it just says

    "quickly change the look of your minimap by using a minimap present."

    how do i activate a new present??

    Recently when I click a button it sticks to the cursor and won't drop. So when an overlapping minimap button occurs and I click the top leveled one to move it, I can't let it down and it just spins around with my mouse endlessly.

    I don't know whether others having same problem. I'm using couple addons, the problem is once I installed all of them, the sexyMap will lose all its formats and setting, also, the zone text will seperate from minimap. It's really annoying.

    I tried if I only have sexyMap this one addon in the folder, it works fine. But after i put other addons, it just be like bugged :/ 

    In the in-game interface, I also can see I lost "Border"  and "Zone Text" options, i think that's the reason cause the problem. But how to fix it?

    I have an issue with the zone text, it is showing twice

    EDIT: Found it, was another addon doing it.

    this may seem a stupid question... i've not seen an answer to it though... how do i move the sexymap, its in the center of my screen at the moment and i want to move it to the side

    Right-click inside the map. When the options come up, uncheck "Lock Map." Drag it where you want, then lock it again.

    So I was using this addon and when I went to pvp a window appeared and I wasn't paying attention and clicked okay. The sexymap addon is gone and even when I reinstall, it never shows on my addons list. What happened? o -o

    Hey  funky,

    Any chance on being able to add a feature in Sexymap to get rid of that annoying diagonal grid pattern that appears in quest zones and other "area zone" overlays?  (You can see the pattern in Wiggly_boy's screenshot below.) The pattern appears to be something created by the default Blizzard UI, but it's terribly unsightly, especially with a non-circular minimap shape enabled.  I'm crossing my fingers it's something that, like the default map border, can be turned off!  Thanks!  :)
