  • A HUD overlay for resource gathering, target tracking, and more.

TYVM for a great addon. I am a minimalist when it comes to mods but Sexymap is a real boon to me for a billion reasons, not the least of which it makes it easier on my neck to not have to constantly look up to the corner for my screen anymore!

Please add map "click through" functionality. Yes, I know this may cause issues for people too dumb to type /sexymap to bring up the UI configuration because they can't rightclick on the mouse anymore but I've found when minimizing the map it leaves a non-clickable patch where the map WAS. In other words when I'm flying around with a greatly expanded minimap looking for herb and mining nodes and I minimize the minimap to get it out of my way I find I can't click on the node to collect it because the game still thinks the map is still there. Yes, I realize this is probably a Blizzard issue but can you help me pretty please? :)

I had this problem when I first installed SexyMap, I had to disable "Show Default Frame" or some such in the options, and that did it for me. Hope this helps!
  • #388
Thanks but I just don't see any option like that anywhere. :\

P.S. Please add vehicle mover support!

Would it be possible to get a UI option for where to center the HUD? I use a viewport mod to clip the bottom 200px off my screen so the center of the HUD is 200px lower than my avatar... makes it a little odd.

I just found this addon and think it's great. but I'm having a problem when using Profiles. every time I switch to different profiles, it layers the borders instead of replacing them. it's quite annoying because everything just blurs together.

example: I logon to an alt and open up Sexy Map. the default is the Blue Rune Circles. also, the profile it is on is "Character Name - Server/Realm". I have set up the "Default" profile just the way I like it (which is also Blue Rune Circles). I choose "Default" from the profile drop down menu and when I go to the "Borders" section, there are multiple "Fades, Rune 1's and Rune 2's". so yea, like I said, they all get layered on top of each other.

    hope this helps. :-)

When I try to reposition certain buttons, they get "stuck" to my cursor and refuse to stay put. Also, some functionality with which to adjust the radius of individual buttons would be handy.

Several of us have had this problem. The only fix is to reload the UI.

Tried reloading the UI several times, actually.  It at very least didn't always work.

I posted on the blizzard UI boards a fix for the 'You don't have space to track anymore objectives, stop tracking some first' error but someone deleted it here. My apologies if linking to another location is a "no-no". Here is a repost:

    I use Sexymap. I love Sexymap. It's just...well...sexy.

That being said, I have had some issues with Quest Tracking since the patch. I have my minimap on the bottom of my screen.
By default, it's attached to the bottom of the map, effectively putting it off the screen and giving that error we have
been experiencing related to "Your tracking log is full....". The truth of the matter is it wasn't full, just off the screen.
This is due to Blizzard adding some nice enhancements to the default UI in regards to tracking, i.e., it's own window.

I've researched and here is the fix to get things back to normal. I did not discover these myself, this process is a conglomeration
of several posts that have resulted in a fix to this error message and the ability to once again track quests while using
    sexymap.

    1. Unlock sexymap and move it to the center of your screen temporarily.

    2. Open your quest screen (default is "L") and shift click a quest that can be tracked.

2a. If the quest popped up, go to 3

2b. If the quest did not pop up, make the following macro and execute it:

    /script WatchFrame:SetHeight(400)
    /script WatchFrame:SetWidth(300)
    /script WatchFrame_ClearDisplay()
    /script WatchFrame_Update(WatchFrame)

Now shift-click the quest that can be tracked again and you should see it pop up, attached to the minimap.

    3. Hit ESC and open your Interface options menu. In the left pane, highlight "Objectives".

3a. In the right pane click on the box next to "Advanced Objectives Tracking". Leave "Disable Mouseover" unchecked.

    4. Now when you mouseover the quest tracker it will be a movable box. Right-click the top and select "Unlock Window".

    5. Move the box to where you want the quest objectives to be. You can resize the box by clicking on a corner and resizing it.

    6. When it's done, right-click the heading of the box and select "Lock Window".

    7. Hit ESC and open your Interface options menu. In the left pane, highlight "Objectives".

    8. Place a checkmark next to "Disable Mouseover"

    9. Move Sexymap back to it's original position (the quest tracker is no longer attached to it)

    10. Lock Sexymap and enjoy your time in the World of Warcraft.

    PERFECT FIX! :O

    Thanks. :)

I'm not quite sure what's wrong, but i'm assuming that it's sexymap that is doing it, seeing as how when I turn it off, I don't have a problem

It's clashing with my instant quest tracking. Whenever I shift click a quest, or pick one up. I get a 'You don't have space to track anymore objectives, stop tracking some first'. error.
