About SexyMap

Make your minimap ubersexah! SexyMap is a minimap awesomification mod, supporting:

  • Minimap moving, and movement of things like the quest tracker and durability frame.
  • Customization of zone text & clock
  • Hiding of all buttons attached to the minimap (can be set to be always hidden, or to show on minimap hover)
  • Sexy minimap border options, extremely configurable, with several slammin' presets.
  • Ping notification
  • Mousewheel minimap zoom, and auto zoom-out.
  • A HUD overlay for resource gathering, target tracking, and more.

SexyMap needs translators, see here.

Looks like the Boss Mover is not working. Usually doesn't show up, but when it does, it takes up the whole width of the screen.

Also I am forced to disable sexymaps when in arenas because I am getting an error along the lines of, 'Tooltip can not have a nil value' (sorry that may not be exact I'm not at my gaming rig)

To avoid confusion the boss mover is there, the boss unit frame isn't showing up where the mover is.

How do I stop the flashing icons in the Hudmap? I would like to make them solid.
  • #1734
    Flashing node function?
  • #1733
Any plans to make this compatible with GatherMate2 pins ?

The HudMap portion of SexyMap appears to have broken the minimap no longer hides, node information etc is not moved to the hud but for some reason the line drawn by routes is.

Is there a way to disable some of the movers? I use all of them except the boss one. I want to disable this as it tends to bug out at times and get about 4 times as large as it is and the power bars go outside of the area where they are supposed to go.

I love Sexymap and I've been using it for a long time. The only thing I'd truly love to see added some day is a position nudger for folks like me who integrate their map into the rest of their UI. I know for myself personally the drag feature (while useful) isn't quite up to par when many people need the elements in their UI to line up perfectly. A nudger, or at the very least a place for X/Y axis input would be WONDERFUL!

Keep up the great work otherwise!

Have you tried going under options and unchecking clamp to screen.

Thats how i stick mine the whole way in the corner

Im having a HUGE issue with sexy map where it the objectives tracking box suddenly becomes big enough to take up the whole screen mid game and it captures my clicks so that the game locks up until i reload or turn sexy map off. ( you dont see it doing it, but it grabs the objective box and moves it around from anywhere on screen , so its obviously making the mover huge and turning itself on for no reason mid play).

Can you please fix the minimap button dragging?

-The positions aren't remembered after relogging.
-The calendar/mail buttons disappear randomly. You have to uncheck/recheck the boxes to show them again. Happens like once an hour.

Both of these issues have been occurring since 4.0.1 hit. Any chance we can get them fixed? It's rather annoying to have to keep setting button positions everytime you relog, and for your calendar/mail buttons to disappear randomly.

I have a problem SexyMap keep re-scale itself back to default. Anyone know how can I fix that?

also needs to be updated for GatherMate2
  • #1728
To update the HudMap to use Gathermate2 pins, open HudMap.lua and find the following lines (the first block is in the onShow function, the second is in the onHide function):

    if db.useGatherMate and GatherMate then
    GatherMate:GetModule("Display"):ChangedVars(nil, "ROTATE_MINIMAP", "1")

if (db.useGatherMate or force) and GatherMate then
    GatherMate:GetModule("Display"):ChangedVars(nil, "ROTATE_MINIMAP", self.rotSettings)

Update replace every occurrence of GatherMate with GatherMate2 so the previous lines now look like the following:

    if db.useGatherMate and GatherMate2 then
    GatherMate2:GetModule("Display"):ChangedVars(nil, "ROTATE_MINIMAP", "1")

if (db.useGatherMate or force) and GatherMate2 then
    GatherMate2:GetModule("Display"):ChangedVars(nil, "ROTATE_MINIMAP", self.rotSettings)
