About SheepMonitor
SheepMonitor provides various methods of notification to help you keep track of your flock. It is primarily designed with mages in mind however it should also work with other crowd control spells like Hex and Hibernate (this has not been tested).
SheepMonitor can provide you with a visual notifier (status bar), raid-style warnings, chat message, and party/raid notifications. Included in the notifications is the name of who broke cc and the source of the damage.
OmniCC integration that will show the time left right on your action bar (this is experimental I haven't tested it very throughly).
Quartz integration that will show the time left as a Mirror bar (obviously you must have the Mirror module enabled).
To move the default visual notifier (status bar) simply right click and drag.

Can you make it so that I can choose where to say? In arena it says it in BG channel, which is shit. I want it in party preferrably.
Thanks.
I just downloaded this addon for my mage. I have turned of the visual notifier, but just testet the adon and kept resheeping the same target over and over again and sometimes the notifier bar popped oup and sometimes it dissapeared again. Must be a bug in the addon.
I love the mod funkjedi. But I'd like to suggest/request a couple of appearance related features if possible.
1. Could you add the ability to change the color of the bar? RED either means fire or immediate danger to me, so I'd like to be able to change it to something else in-game. (I figured out where and how in the timers.lua to edit the color, but of course I'd need to do this every time you put out a new update.)
1.a. This is much more complicated than a simple color change I know, but it would actually be awesome if the color set as the main one would automatically change to yellow like at 20 seconds and to red at like 10 seconds like I've see in some other outdated CC timer mods. That would represent the growing "danger" of the CC breaking due to time.
2. Could you add the ability to change the bar's sizes, for example the length/width/scale/font along with perhaps being able to toggle the icon on/off? I know that's a lot of stuff, but it would be useful to a lot of people. The size as it is now was a little bit too big for where I wanted to squeeze it into my UI. So I dabbled in the timers.lua again and manage to make everything a bit smaller via trial and error. But I'm no LUA coder, so I don't know if what I did will mess up anything in the long run, and like with the color I edited, I'd have to manually do that after every update.
Thanks for considering these things...
I use button timers addon to keep track of dots, it can be used to keep track of your target or focus, when i'm asked to cc, i set up a button to function on my focus, so i don't need to lose my target and quickly reapply the cc if needed, when I use my action bar button to initally cc it doesn't give any errors, but when I use the button timers button to do it it gives this error:
3x SheepMonitor-1.9\timers.lua:132: Usage: <unnamed>:SetMinMaxValues(min, max)

Thanks for a wonderful addon.
I like this addon but there seems to be a problem with it. If you sheep a target but don't kill it it seems impossible to re-target another mob for CC'ing, it can't "let go" of the other mob. Anyone else noticed this?...
Thanks for disabling Ring of Frost! I really like developers like you who listen to their users :)
Would it be a pushover to ask that it announces "Polymoph has broken" before "Polymorph cast on x" whenever I re-sheep a target? Or maybe no "Polymorph has broken" announcement if it's a re-sheep (sheep over existing sheep)?
I have announce to party, announce sheep and announce break all ticked if that helps.
Thanks so much! Loving the addon :)
i take it this only works if im playing a CC class? aka mages, druids, hunters, etc? because i downloaded it so i know when someone in raid/party breaks cc's but i havent received any indications that this addon is working. i play a dk but im also raid lead so i thought it would tell me if some scrub has broken a cc and tries to deny it. guess it doesnt work unless im playing a cc class. oh well.
I've added this as an optional setting in the 4.3 version I just uploaded.
That said, if the author _IS_ able to get "target clicking" working, I'd like to have a few words about hiring out some changes for DoTimer for the same. Really glad to see current updates and fixes still going in. Grats! :-)
SheepMonitor is constantly reporting back for mobs in ring of frost, and it's kind of annoying :(
An option to turn off Ring of Frost notification would be cool. Thanks :)
One thing - I'm a Survival Hunter with Trap Mastery talent.
(extends duration of Freezing Trap and Ice Trap by 30%)
My timer for those traps is still at 60 secs - it should be longer.
Any chance of a fix please ?
...or anyone know what I could manually alter to give it the correct times ?
Chreers :)
