About SimpleRune
SimpleRune is a compact, easily readable rune display for deathknights. It provides a clear visual distinction between usable and almost-usable runes. Runes with the shortest remaining cooldown are always at the top of the frame. Rune cooldowns are indicated by runes filling up with color.
Note: SimpleRune v1.0.3 is working fine as of patch 3.3.5. No new features are under development, however. Engraved has all of SimpleRune's functionality and more.
Version 1.0.3: Fixed another bug caused by changes in Blizzard's API. Everything works fine again. Nothing to see here. Move along. Move along.
Version 1.0.2: Fixed a bug caused by changes in Blizzard's API. Display looks slightly different now.
Version 1.0.1: SimpleRune now hides the Blizzard default rune frame
Version 1.0: Hello world!

The options menu doesn't show up in my interface options. Is there a fix?
There is 1 thing tho, hide out of combat.
I havnt found any option to tweak it so i installed Kong UI Hider that does the job, would be sweet if u decided to add an option to Simplerune tho :)
Tyvm for an excellent addon
Curse seems to be slow in updating at the moment. You can get v1.0.2 here: http://wow.curseforge.com/addons/simplerune/files/3-simple-rune-1-0-2/
simplerunic?
would be nice!
is there any for runic power, simply displayed simply as this, out there?
/run _G["RuneFrame"]:Hide();
Use the macro every time you log in. :/ It sucks, but it works. I'm not familiar enough with LUA to propose an edit.
In SimpleRune.lua look for
self:RegisterEvent("RUNE_TYPE_UPDATE");
self.background = getglobal(self:GetName().."Background");
Between those two, add
_G["RuneFrame"]:Hide();
It has been running error free for me for the past couple minutes, and automatically disables the blizzard rune frame on log-in. :)
I'd also like to see a fully horizontal configuration and an option to remove the default Blizzard runes (unless thats being caused by a different addon I'm using). Being able to use the Blizzard rune artwork would be helpful.
One option I'd like to see added:
"Reverse rune cooldown order"
At the moment, it is like this: There are two blood runes ready. I use one. Now the upper rune is still active, but the _lower_ one is greyed out and slowly fills up, till it reaches 100% after 10 seconds.
Please make an option so that the _upper_ rune is used first (and so the lower one is the first to become ready again after both runes were used). This behaviour would make more sense to me, since the individual runes also fill up slowly from bottom to the top, and the whole thing reminds me of a glass of water. When you drink something, the upper half becomes empty first, and when you slowly refill the glass, the liquid tends to fill the lower half of the glass first. ;)
