add-on works great my only issue is sometimes it causes taint when i try to change glyphs out which requires me to do sometimes multiple reloads to get it to unlink itself.

    I will check it today

  • #578

Yes, this was the problem. But it's a bug in Blizzard UI - they shouldn't use global _, because a lot of addons taint it. I already fixed Skillet and will release it soon.

  • #576

Check for leaking globals, especially the _ variable. This was a problem that happened in my addons with this release, and that's what the fix was.

I have just uploaded fixes for Mists of Pandaria - main functionality of Skillet works, but for now I leave it in Beta, because it may still contain some minor bugs - if you find any, write a comment.

This version works also with current patch, so it's safe to update now.

  • #568

When using Skillet on my scribe for crafting glyphs, when the option to "only show recipies that you have materials to make" is enabled, it does not show the glyphs that can be made even though I have a full assortment of inks in the bank.  However, if I move the inks from my bank to my bags, then it correctly shows what can be made.

I have the "bank on" option enabled.  Interestingly, it does show items that can be made from the Uncommon Inks, such as Tarot Cards, Darkmoon Cards, and Off-Hands.

I was on vacation last few week and right now i fight with the beta downloader to fix any issues before new patch.

  • #567

... and there was much rejoicing!

Thank you for all your effort.

  • #565

Aww dang... it was working, but as of about client, it just pulls up the Skillet Tradeskill window with 'incomplete scan' highlighted on the buttons.

It was working for me.  I did at first copy over my .lua, then tried again with a virgin setup and it worked; but now ... 8(

Lil'Sparky or Yossa, please do what you can to bring this must have AddOn back to the land of the Pandas.

  • #564

Doesn't work at all in Pandaria beta.

  • #570

    it works now :)

Hey there, I love this addon - I use it together with Lilsparkys shopshop for achieving global world conquest :)

But seriously though, the addon really struggles with correctly calclating mats that require breakdown of other mats as follows:

If an enchant requires Heavenly shards, skillet queues maelstrom shatter. But it double counts the Maelstrom crystals and when you try to make the enchant, you will be told you dont have enough Maelstrom crystals.

The addon queues the processing of Dreamcloth when each of the Dreamcloths are on Cooldown, sometimes queing the manufacture of two or more of the same type of Dreamcloth at once.

I guess there are other examples of other types of combinations in other professions, but since I am not so active in them, I cant comment.

Anyhow, as stated - this is a killer addon for me - and if you do have time to look at the code, I for one thing would be extremely happy.

    Lockable window?!

Amazing addon, no question about that, but the main and only thing stopping me using it... guaranteed once a session ill end up accidently moving the window... surely theres a way to lock it?

  • #561

I love this addon and I'm really sad that it's not working properly for me =( When I open a profession window with Skillet my game freezes for upto 15 min. After this wait it comes up and works perfectly when I switch toons. However when I restart WoW it freezes when I open it for the first time again.

I have tried shift+clicking the profession first to load my recipes, and I am not running any other addons for testing purposes. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.
