  • How to search in the item name only? - Start your search phrase with exclamation mark: !ink
  • How to search in Auction House? - Alt+Click on shopping list
  • How to retrieve items from bank? - Turn on "Display shopping list at banks"
  • How to turn off Skillet temporarily? - Shift+Click your profession button/link. It also works for View All in your Guild Tab.
  • How to use Enchanting Vellum? - Right Click on Process/Create/Create All button. You create only 1 enchanted vellum, repeat to create more
  • How to use auto Milling/Prospecting? - Alt+Click/Right Click on Prospect/Milling icons. You can also create a macro /click SkilletAutoMilling or /click SkilletAutoProspecting
  • How to paste a recipe in the chat? - double click on the recipe list

I thought you meant skillet.lua, but there's no line 1430 in that file. Which file did you mean?
  • #210
    UI\MainFrame.lua
  • #211
Changed it and it just gave me more errors. Different errors.
  • #208
    The following were also updated:
Aloft, AloftCastBars, AVR, Grid, GatherMate_Data, Chinchilla, ArkInventory

Haven't tried the uncomment out line yet, doing so now.

I'm not sure if my situation is rare or not but I am using Skillet with 3.3.3 with no problems. I had to edit the .toc file to change the version number from 30000 to 30300 but otherwise I've had no issues with it. I'm using it with Lil Sparky's Workshop so maybe that makes a difference? Hope this helps.
  • #203
Any good replacements for Skillet? I can't log in on any toon now since 3.3.3 launched with this mod enabled.
  • #202
Skillet is all freaked out for me after the patch... after I enable "load out-of-date add-ons", the Skillet window comes up, but it contains no recipes, no glyphs, books, nothing. Empty.

Any chance of fixing it in the near future?
  • #200
No real update in over a year - not even a beta for over 6 months. Still trying to get a hold of lilsparky, but I've put in a request to take over this addon. It's far too awesome to let waste away.
  • #205
you've tried to get ahold of me?

i'm actually at work on my replacement for skillet. for the most part, skillet should still work fine. most of the problems people report are simply issues with a patch clearing the local cache which makes trade skills take a moment to come across to your client.

there are also a few random nil errors that crop up, but by and large it's stable.

is there gonna be an update for this b/c i just found this addon and would like to be able to use it plz :)

For me, the latest patch (3.3.2) seems to have broken *something*. I can't get either ATSW or Skillet to work (only loading one them at a time of course). Every time I open a trade skill, one of two things happens: either ATSW/Skillet show no recipes at all (or sometimes just 5-10 of them) -or- the whole game client crashes while the add-on "scans" the recipes, forcing me to manually kill the WoW.exe process. Deleting /Cache/ and the add-ons' SVs didn't help it.
I can't tell if this is an issue with the actual trade skill add-ons or with another add-on or if it's just a link/lag related thing or whatever, but for some reason this isn't working as expected at all at the moment.
The game's native trade skill window needs like 1-2 seconds to show my recipes, but working with it isn't exactly the comfortable way.
    Any ideas?
