    Hello, still loving your addon!

Something odd I noticed recently:  When I put down Ursol's Vortex for a cluster of mobs, the addon spams me with error sounds that I believe match 'the target is already dead' when some of the mobs die while vortex is up.

Would there be any way to disable the error sounds for Vortex?

The game itself might be spamming messages which is causing the addon to make sounds.  Do you know how to set up your combat log to display those messages?  If you could get a screenshot of it, that would be very helpful!

Any word on an update for 5.04?

  • #15

Yes, a 5.0.4 update is ready to go as soon as it's released.

Hi, I wonder if you would consider adding the error "Target too close"?
  • #12
    Done!

    Yay! Thanks so much!

ease edit all Playsound and Playsoundfile method calls to include an extra parameter "Master".
This way we can have it work with out wow sounds playing as well.

Yes, this will be done in 1.3 and will be released shortly! (Only had time to update and test GTFO this morning.)

Something odd I noticed: If I'm stunned and I try to spam a spell, the error sound for 'you can't do that yet' becomes VERY loud. But it goes back to normal afterward.

    Still loving your addon.

I noticed this happening as well. I will be posting a fix for it shortly along with Cataclysm compatibility.

    (OT) PikaGir is amazing.

Hmm... I really should update the ToC file to show it works fine in 3.3... I'll do that... :P

Hey, I'm sure you're busy and this mod works as advertised, but I wanted to let you know I modded it privately to add SPELL_FAILED_TARGETS_DEAD (Your target is dead) and
SPELL_FAILED_SPELL_IN_PROGRESS (Another action is in progress) since I see those a lot. Thanks for your great work.

Good call. As I've been getting a little better at mod making, I need to add a few new features to make it more customizable, like choosing the sound effect and allowing people to add their own custom sounds.
