Required Addons

Installation Note

Disable oUF if you have it installed, This is a addon library used for unit frames SpartanUI has this built in and having a version not compatible with SpartanUI will break things.

Slash Commands

  • /sui (Shows options window)
  • /spin (Toggles Spin Cam)
  • /sui version (Shows which version of SpartanUI you are using)

F.A.Q

Q. How do i Move my focus/party/raid?

A. As of 3.1 All frames are of the mentioned frames are movable by holding Alt and dragging no need to unlock or lock them with a command or button.

Q. I changed a option but nothing changed.

A. Some of the new options in 3.1 for Raid/Party Frames require a /reload to be done after changing them, no it will not always be like this but in order to get it out in time for MOP launch day some convenience had to be sacrificed.

    I just wanted to say THANK YOU for reviving this add on! You've done some amazing work with the options already, keep up the GREAT work!

    And if anyone wants to make their chat a bit less of an eyesore - I recomment PhanxChat, it's lightweight, flexible and does the job more than well.

    I can't use SpartanUI with Adapt.
    Is there any way to solve this problem!?
    The combination would be perfect!

    But above all, congratulations for the excellent work!

    Adapt only works with the Default uit frames and UI's that skin the default frames. SpartanUI uses completely custom frames and does not utilize the Blizzard Frames so there is no way for me to support it.

    For some reason, with the latest update, I get no target frame, just my player frame, and target of target. Something is wrong there.

    hello

    thank you for having put this SPUI updated since years I use it's nice.

    Version 3.02 is nikel by cons when I put all the version 3.05a bug interface returns received him without the ability to remove them. I see my picture on all the small icon dk, master loot, jvj, etc ... impossible removed and also the portrait of the ghoul (pet). So when I return the version 3.02 and file savevariable (wtf) all small interface bug or not.

    Heya, I noticed a small visual bug with the current version. When you're pretty well rest (currently I am 97% rested) and you have a good chunk of EXP into lvl (I'd say around 50%+) the visual for the rested bar color is clearly visible on the far left of Spartan. =)

    3.1 has redesigned how rested and gained displays (had to do it for Transparency (whoops was i supposed to meantion that yet? Laughing )

    Wow, Spartan is active?!  I seem to remember some time in wrath it seemed to go stagnant, and that's the only reason I stopped using it.  Going to have to get this going again. 

     

    Really glad I found this, lookin forward to giving it a go to see how its done since then :)

    It has not been active since 2009 i just took over the project listings with the origional authors permission about 2/3 weeks ago. Dont judge it 100% on what it is now :) there is alot of stuff i am adding. With that said if you like it as it dont worry SpartanUI will always have the same look accessiable via options as it always has since 2007. I might change up some defaults styles base don how wow has progresed over the years but i will try my best to keep the same look as well.

    Keep up the great work, I can't remember the last time a programer actually listened to their fans. In that vien, could you add an option for portraits and cast bars on the focus/focus target frames? I used a fan update version of SUI that had theese options and found them quite usefull.

    All in time :) I started on this about 2 1/2 weeks ago using the 2009 code as my base as i dont trust random people's code so i did not want to use to mauch of the fan update code out there. I have alot on my list i want in 3.1 right now none of it includes focus frames :( but that does not mean something might make its way into 3.1 or 3.2 :)  Just stay tuned there is alot to come.

    what about the chat i have the default wow ui chat yet in pics on the site i saee the chat on teh ui bar how do i adjust it to that?XD

     wait scratch that can you add a  built in chat to it? 

    i realise they mocved the default chat around didnt' knwo you could do that originally XD lol but yeah an dual window intergration would be nice left side chat right side loot :)
