About SpartanUI


Is designed to free your screen by moving a majority of the interface elements to the bottom. It is managed and maintained by Libidos of Azgalor. You can now join the project on facebook where i will be posting polls and asking other general questions about the direction of the addon.

Required Addons

Installation Note

Disable oUF if you have it installed, This is a addon library used for unit frames SpartanUI has this built in and having a version not compatible with SpartanUI will break things.

Slash Commands

  • /sui (Shows options window)
  • /spin (Toggles Spin Cam)
  • /sui version (Shows which version of SpartanUI you are using)

Q. How do i Move my focus/party/raid?

A. As of 3.1 All frames are of the mentioned frames are movable by holding Alt and dragging no need to unlock or lock them with a command or button.

Q. I changed a option but nothing changed.

A. Some of the new options in 3.1 for Raid/Party Frames require a /reload to be done after changing them, no it will not always be like this but in order to get it out in time for MOP launch day some convenience had to be sacrificed.

    ...sUI is under development again and you will becomes some support on developers forum

    There is also a Beta-version of sUI which works with Patch 3.2

    To make everything a whole lot easier i made a good working Spartan UI. I downloaded 2.6.0 and fixed it(there was a error in oUF)now to make it easier for everyone i uploaded it, so just download and unpack and copy paste all the files(not changelog)in ur addons folder, default map is C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns

    i think its recomendet to go on the sUI Forum to got the latest news and good help for any problems.
    But dont ask "when it comes the new version out"
    Ansu (the coder of sUI) is working now on version 3.0 and it takes a while to complete it so give him this time to make us all happy with a full compatible verion of our lovelyest UI in WoW

    wie schon erwähnt is Ansu dran des ding auf v3.0 zu coden und das brauch halt seine zeit..

    geh mal auf die page und registrier dich da..dann schau die threats nach wie die heissen dafür langt dein englisch bestimmt..dann klatsch des geschriebene ainfach in nen onlinetranslator und dichte es dir zusamm..mach ich auch bei vielen sachen so (schäm)
    zu deinem Problem kann ich leider nix sagen was helfen könnte sry aber im forum dort findst bestimmt hilfe.

    there is a beta version of sUI on the sUI-Forum you can download it and a fix that correct that things

    hello, i got a problem with this UI. I cant see my own player portal anymore and the portal of my target either. It is since the new patch 3.2 Can any1 help me with this??

    Nice ui. Really fits the game like a glove... one problem.
    Why does it show the target of my target's target if IM the target!
    Example: Me vs Springpaw

    It displays:
    My Health and buffs/debuffs on the left.
    Sprinpaw's Health and buffs/debuffs on the right.
    And my Health and buffs/debuffs again because I'm its target.
    I know IM the target. Im being attacked! Why do I need to see that.
    Is there anyway to turn it off? At least when the target is me? I know its useful if your helping a player kill something that has their attention but why do I need to know Im targeted by the monster if I can see it attacking me!

    I think that you are really good your project.
    I've downloaded the beta and I would not ask as well (pity I'm do not speak english: (well), the possibility of his crew back on my position, not the left of me, because the problem is that I am exactly at this point my wonderful display dots quartz bar and I had this sort of think practically.
    the idea with the target, that it only appears when a mob to target so I take my spartanui of the frame for this goal. oO

    finde ich ja sowas von klasse ansu, dass du dich deinem wirklich guten project wieder widmest.
    ich habe mal die beta geladen und ne bitte hätte ich da auch (schade das ich dem englisch nicht mächtig bin :( na ja) wird die möglichkeit bestehen sein begleiter wieder über mir zu positionieren, nicht links neben mir, weil das problem ist, dass ich genau an dieser stelle wunderbar meine quartz dots-anzeigebalken habe und ich dieses sowas von praktisch finde.
    die idee mit dem target, dass es erst erscheint wenn man ein mob ins target nimmt also ich meine den rahmen von spartanui für dieses ziel. oO

    Ja es wird.
    Ansu is wieder am Projekt dran und bastelt an version 3.0
    Auf der Seite die die ARKphoenix gepostet hat gibts ne beta version und einen fix mit beschreibung wie der zu nutzen ist.
    Einfach mal reinschaun und testen.Für mich läufts mit der beta im moment gut.

    There you can read the latest news about sUI and can download the beta with a healthbar fix.

    So be happy with me and much other ppl that Ansu is reworking on it.
