About SpellAlerter
What it does
SpellAlerter is a basic spell alert mod based off the original SpellAlert mod. See the images for the different alert types you can setup.
Features
- Add any spell and ability you want to be alerted to
- Three filters: Enemy Spellcasts, Enemy Buffs, and Friendly Debuffs
- Additional filtering for players only (reduces spam from things such as Mirror Image)
- Each alert can have its own sound play. It's similar to making triggers in MSBT but a lot more simplified.
- Optional minimap icon
- Data broker plugin
- All options are inside the GUI. Type /sa or /spellalerter to access them.
Localization
It should work with all language clients. It is currently only localized in English and Simplified Chinese. If you'd like to help translate see the Locales.lua file.

I'd Love to see this updated for 4.3, but not sure if anyone is going to update it, anyone know of a very similar addon?

TellMeWhen allows you to create notifications when certain spells are cast, buffs are gained, debuffs are applied, etc. using its "Combat Event" icon type. If you need any help setting it up, post a comment on its addon page and I will be happy to assist you!
why dont ppl update this to 4.3?

Is there any way to make it show alerts only when enemy casts on me and to show only hostile players' casts?
works for me in arena, but usually displays the wrong targets
Since this doesn't work in arena anymore. What are people using as a replacement?
Sometimes this works in arena, but sometimes is not good enough though.
