About SpellFlash: Death Knight

The DeathKnight addon requires SpellFlash to function.

The goal of this addon is to assist Death Knight class players in selecting casting decisions based on Runic Power and currently available Runes.

At this time the core functions have been created and the script is performing nicely but the decision criteria is requiring more effort to complete.

SpellFlash flashes your action bar abilities for your rotation, or anything that proc's!! Very lightweight and doesn't consume any extra space on your UI.

What it does:

This module is designed to flash spells to cast when they become available and are set specifically depending on what talent tree you have chosen.
The general idea is to maximize damage by keeping active during a fight.  By understanding the abilities and cooldowns more, the hope is to increase DPS overall.   For players already maximizing gear, slotting, runes and cooldowns, this module probably won't help.  For those looking to enhance performance, or wanting to try to boost their damage, this module may be what you are looking for.

    Doesn't work for me at all. I changed the log as stated in the comment below. I still get the error loading when I log on to my toon. It never works.

    I installed mine and there is no error message but nothing happens (yes i enabled it) whenever im in combat there is no flash, there is nothing(I have a 70 DK)

    For those having issues with SF:DK not working since 4.3.x, open your WoW folder, Interface/AddOns/SpellFlash_DeathKnight and then open the .TOC file in Notepad.  Change the first line to "## Interface: 40300" without the quotes.  This is a temp fix until an update comes out.

    I have been using this addon now for the past couple of weeks... what an awesome addon!!!Cool

    Now it has decided not to work... Cry It was working fine yesterday after the Wednesday maintanance!!!

    I now get the message "Error loading: SpellFlash_DeathKnight (INTERFACE_VERSION)"

    I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling.. even to the point where I uninstalled all my addons to see if it was any of them that were causing the problem... unfortunately nothing worked, I still get the message!!!

    Please help... I need my SpellFlash fix Wink

     

    EDIT: I figured out the issue for the error message I was getting...

    When I log in to the game when already in Blood Spec, I get the error... and the addon stays not working the whole time...
    When I log in to the game when in Frost Spec... The addon works perfectly... thus allowing me to change back and forth from frost to blood spec and still have the addon working perfectly in both specs...

    I loaded to install spleeflash for the Deah Knight but they were not working .so , I need someone who helps me with this problem issue. Thank you for your time and have a nice day

    I wonder why it is that all my skills nicely flash up when i can use them, but Horn of Winter isn't one of them. Maybe because i can always use, i understand, but it would be lovely to have it flash when i have it NOT on. Sometimes i stupidly forget it, and a reminder would be so nice. Thanks for this great addon anyway, i am happy with it.

    You could use Power Auras Classic to do it. I did it on ma DK and its AWESOME!

    Hey i think there is a bug when cliking the configure class modual button nothing opens so i dont even know what options are in there.

    Also could you please add an option so i can change the colour of the flash from the default blizz yellow to say a nice blue
