About StatBlockCore

StatBlockCore is a display addon for LibDataBroker plugins.

SBC offers a variety of options some plugin based, some global based. It's main goal is to provide freely movable blocks based on the LDB system, whilst keeping to a minimal codebase.
Also a lot of other addons are using LDB for their quicklaunchers, SBC fully supports them.

Examples of plugins are:

  • Broker_* addons
  • StatBlock_* addons
  • ..and many more...

SBC does nothing on it's own, it needs LibDataBroker plugins to function. You can find these in the Data Broker section.

    IS there a way to turn of the sticky? It makes it hard to align stuff properly.

    Could you please look into this issue? StatBlockCore + BrokerXPBar (or any Broker text for that matter). Ignore the blackness on the bottom of the screenshots, they are just another addon I'm working with:

    This is fixed by going in and unchecking and re-checking, "Show Text".

    i know i used to be able to do this before but i cant find statblock_mail anywhere ... or was i dreaming that i could have a block to show calendar date time and mail?

    It looks like the width of blocks aren't saved correctly. I have a row of blocks that only show the icon, but when I mouse over them, the mouse over area of icons overlap. For example, putting 6 icons in a row right next to each other, then logging off and on, hovering over icon 1, 2, or 3 will display icon 1's tooltip, and hovering over 4, 5, and 6, will display 4's.

    I can workaround this by going to the SBC menu and toggling on and off Show Text for every block each time I login, but a real fix would be appreciated. Thanks.

    Many thanks for the 2.5 update - its great.
    One query; Is it possible for me to anchor the blocks onto a kgPanel? I'm new at this, but was trying to enter the new panel name in the Parenting field on the gui. However I format the frame name ( e.g. kgPanel:myfirstpanel or just myfirst panel), then I get an error that the path doesnt exist.
    I have tried to find some help on the Parenting option, but google didnt help. - Any pointers would be gratefully received, because I am sure I am missing the point.
    What I wanted to do is create a fuBar sized/styled kgPanel along the top.. and anchor sbc stuff to it, with the idea that i could hide all the blocks by hiding the panel until mouseover. ( kgPanels added mouseover support )

    thanks in advance for any help.

    doh! found out that kgPanels renames the names internally. Once I used the keybinding to get the internal name, I could use that on the blocks. I have the anchor set now. :D
    The blocks dont move with the panel unfortunately, but its not a big deal. I'll look at it more tomorrow

    -Add option to hide tooltip in combat
    -Press down "Control" when moving a block to disable sticky
    -Add button to color text by classcolor, only available globally
    -Add Option to hide text for use when only the icon is wanted, will snap resize the block
    -Remove WotLK checks
    -Now when you install a new plugin, it will take the master color settings
    -NEW support for creating secure blocks: Many thanks to Aranarth for the endless debate & discussion! This will allow more power to blocks, Aranarth's in particular :P
