About SummarizedLFRRolls

SummarizedLFRRolls avoids roll message spam in raids by toggling the "Detailed Loot Information" option toggle off when entering a LFR group (and then returns it back to "on" when leaving).

    I have been using this addon, but it does not seem to work consistently. Even on the same LFR run, some bosses will be summarized, others will show all the rolls. There isn't a pattern to it that I can see, it's not that it alternates. My last run I had two bosses where it didn't work and then two bosses where it did. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

    The only possibility I can think if is me not accounting for some possible GetLFGMode return.

    The next time the addon does not work, could you run the following script and post the return values?

    /dump GetLFGMode()

    All the addon is doing is toggling the default UI's "Detailed Loot Information" toggle, really. If we toggle it on when we see one item, you'd also see every other item that's being rolled at the same time. As for the issue at hand, well, it's strange. I already account for lfgmode == "proposal". I'll look into a better way of filter whether we are in LFR.

    Ok just tested it out. When it worked, the return was:

    "lfgparty"

    When it failed, the return was:

    "proposal", "accepted"

    Hope that helps!

    Oh, and one request - would it be possible to maybe add an option so that we always see our own roll? Or alternatively a way to see the full roll info for an item, but only if we click on something? Most of the time I don't care, but the masochistic side of the brain sometimes wants to know how close I came to winning. :)

    The addon does not require any configuration and will simply toggle off the "Detailed Loot Information" setting in the default options while in an LFR raid. Are you sure you're using the latest version (beta-3)?

    I was looking for something like this. How does it work? Screenshot? What is the command to turn it on/off or adjust settings?

    I tried the addon in LFR, but I still get the rolls spamming on the chat. Would be possible to have only the summary of the winning rolls (item, player, roll number)?
