About Tattoo Minimap

Minimap Features: - Scale the minimap - Round or square minimap, or different shapes - Show or hide Calendar, Time, Zone Text, Coordinates - Drag minimap - Apply custom borders. - Color the borders and minimap button borders. - Apply lens flare effects - Right-click menu for Tracking - Middle-click menu for MicroMenu functions. - Save profiles. For more graphics, see: Tattoo, Tattoo Skin1, Tattoo Skin Ice, Tattoo Skin Fire. This minimap can be skinned. For creating skins, see my portal on wowinterface: For Stats Panel, see: TattooStats. These work together nicely, so you may turn off your MicroMenu in Bartender, and access it by clicking on minimap. Then the Stats panel allows you to see information that was in the MicroMenu tooltips, such as Addon Memory Usage, Latency, etc, but in a more detailed format.

Sorry!  I quit WoW years ago, so no update is coming.

  • #22

It will be difficult to find another addon that allows me to hide my micro menu. Please, I beg of you, please update. Baby kittens lives depend on it somehow.

  • #21

Post-update, the minimap settings have to be reset on every character, every time I log in. I'd hate to have to look for another minimap addon, but this is getting tiresome. Is an update coming?

    broken in 5.x.x

This is an excellent minimap addon. I've tried them all and this one has both a great map and excellent aesthetic choices. I love the various border textures, glosses, and colors this map offers. The combinations will complement any UI.

Try it, you won't be disappointed.

Please update! This is the only minimap addon I can stand, and I'd love to keep using it. It doesn't seem to have any serious conflicts with the new patch, but I'd like to be safe. :)

I'm really liking how this is not bloated with aesthetic options like another one I was using. No errors and probably less on patch days.

One option I -have- been looking for, but haven't found in any of the add-ons, is the ability to toggle the minimap visibility.

I'd rather see a toggle switch rather than just have the option to "hide during combat", because there are times when I'm in combat that I -do- like to have the minimap visible, like bg's or general questing combat.
For raid or dungeon bosses, it -would- be nice to lose the minimap since it's not really needed and would be one less thing on your screen.

    Anyway, just a thought. Thanks.

Is there a known bug for moving the mail icon around the minimap? I can move anything else except the mail icon.
  • #16
None of the Blizzard icons are set up to be movable, so Calendar, Mail, LFG, PVP Queue, should all be stuck where they are. Creating a circular drag zone would be oddly difficult I think, so I'm probably not going to fix that any time very soon, since I have larger bugs awaiting fixes in Henna.
    Sorry :)

Loving the addon, infact loving all your addons, just with the map it doesnt save its position, am i doing something wrong? it saves zoom, shape and size settings just not position. Thanks
  • #14
No, I made an error while fixing drag zones, so I need a little time to fix that, and will as soon as I can. :)
  • #10
It doesn't remember zoom settings :/ Other than that great addon, simple and minimalistic, I finally replaced SexyMap :)
  • #11
Added this to 000006 for you.

this is what I am getting at: It seems its having problems with Ace (the one that TattooMap comes with). However if I run another addon that uses Ace (one that come packaged with their addon), then your map works fine...
