About Telnets UI
This is an ART PACK. It is NOT a stand alone Warcraft add-on. In order to use this you MUST also download a small add-on called “BTex” as well. BTex will enable you to display the art contained in either of my Art Packs and use them as a backdrop for your action bars.
To my knowledge, the Curse Add-on manager is not able to install Artwork properly since it depends on additional add-ons. Please download My Art packs manually and read the "How To Install.html" file for instructions of where to place these files in order for them to work in-game.
TO USE MY ARTWORK YOU MUST INSTALL THE ADD-ON CALLED: BTex (Author is Tiggi)
Details:
There are 2 Art Packs. The first pack I released in 2009 contains backgrounds that are elegant, and detailed. They are all fairly neutral as not to distract too much from the actual game and are considered my more "fancy" backgrounds.
They are named (Use these names in Btex to display them):
DarkUI
NexusUI
SFKeepUI
ZulDrakUI
The second Art Pack I have just finished (2011). These backgrounds are a little more sleek and much simpler in design. They are for those players who want a more slim looking UI but still retain a little flare as well.
They are named (Use these names in Btex to display them):
SlimUIDark
SlimUIRed
SlimUISkull
SlimUITiny1
SlimUITiny2
I can be contacted in-game through World of Warcraft:
Shaylea - Gnome Warlock, on the Whisperwind Realm or at www.telnets.org

* Install the BTex Addon from Author Tiggi.
* Drop the TGA files from one of my Art Packs Into your Warcraft/Interface/Addons/Btex/Skins/ Directory.
* Load up WoW, type "/Btex Custom" Into your chat box.
* Where it says "Set Name: , Change it to "DarkIU" or "SlimUIRed" (Names of the backgrounds are in the "How To.html" file)
* Adjust the scale to fit your screen, and walla!
1) Download the Btex Addon from curse through the curse updater and install it. Verify it is working by going into the game and you should see a black-ish texture across the bottom of your screen behind your action buttons.
2) Download my addon via the MANUAL DOWNLOAD button, This will ask you to save the .ZIP file on your hard drive. Do that, and pay attention to where it saves it to.
3)Once the .ZIP file is downloaded, go into your My Computer and open/extract the ZIP file. Inside there are a few .JPG files which are SAMPLES of the different textures, and a txt file. These files are in no way used by BTEX and you can delete them if you want.
4)The ZIP file contains a directory called "UI ATRWORK". This directory contains the necessary .TGA files you need. Go into that directory, and select all the .TGA files inside. Copy these files directory into your /Warcraft/Interface/Addons/Btex/Skins directory (There will be other .TGA files in there already, just ADD the files from my texture pack to them)
5)Go into the game, and in your chat, type "/btex menu" You will get a little menu to configure btex
6) click on the "Choose the skin" drop down, and select
7) it will open a new window and under Set Name: this is where you type one of the skin names you want to use from my back, your options are
DarkUI
NexusUI
SFKeepUI
ZulDrakUI
8) When you hit apply, the texture at the bottom of the screen will change to your selection if you spelled it properly. The rest of the options are there for you to make small adjustments as needed to your interface.
Thats it, thats how you install it and get it setup. Unfortunately it is not possible for curse to "install" my addon via the auto-updater because it goes into another addons directory and is not a stand alone add-on itself. So its a limitation of curse.com, not of the way I have things.
Hope this helps!
Please please please?!?!
Link Expired
The link you have followed has expired. This most likely occurs when you followed a direct file link from a webpage or if you used an addon updater that is not approved for use with Curse. If you got this error when attempting to download a file from Curse, please contact us.
I use Curse Client now and your Telnets UI does not show up in there. Is there anyway you could upload them somewhere else? Like at WoWInterface ewith all the others
