About Timers
This mod lets you create a list of specific timers to track on yourself, a target, your pet or your focus.
Three main difference between this mod and other timer mods.
- The bars you make always exist and show up as red if the buff/debuff is missing. This makes it easy to determine if you need to reapply a buff or dot.
- Buffs, cooldowns and debuffs can be intermingled. This means as a hunter you can track your Explosive Shot cooldown right above the Serpent Sting dot on a target. Or a Death Knight can have Unholy Blight right next to Frost Fever.
- The bars all use absolute time scales. You can set the scaling factor in the configuration window, but the actual time is always absolute. This means whichever bar is closest to empty will expire first which allows you to look ahead and make a smart decision on which ability to use next based on the order that buffs and debuffs will expire.
v4.08
Fixed bad version that snuck in.
v4.07
Bump for 4.3
v4.06
Initial bump for 4.2
v4.05
Now tracks auras
v4.04
Bumped versoin numbers for 4.1
v4.02
Fixed tracking by spell ID
v4.01
Quick fix for item id tracking
v4.00
Jump to 4.0 for WoW 4.0 compatibility.
v2.11
Workaround for 3.3.3 change causing texture tiling
v2.10
For buffs and debuffs you can now enter a spell ID instead of a spell name. This was to solve problems where multiple buffs shared names (solace and shaman frost badge totem specifically)
v2.09
Changed frame lock code to make it cleaner
Added a "Full Lock" option which prevents alt-drag. This causes clicks to be ignored so you can click items behind the timers or drag/spin the camera even if the mouse is over the timer bar.
v2.08
Added internal cooldown tracking through libInternalCooldowns
v2.07
Fixed an error with shared media not having an appropriate widget available.
v2.06
Added support to toggle based on stance/form
v2.05
Added shared media support
v2.04
Added aliases. Click 'advanced features' to enable this
On the 'aliases' tab you can enter a new alias. There are some defaults entered
Enter the abilities or cooldowns for that alias
On the main Frame tabs, instead of giving an ability or buff/debuff name, use the alias name instead
Some additional GCD detection correction around abilities that reset cooldowns.
Updated TOC for 3.3
v2.03
Changed default spacing to compress more
Cleaned up TOC entries. Was missing some.
v2.02
Handled the GCD better. Cooldowns should count down all the way to zero now instead of occasionally reseting at 1.5 seconds.
v2.01
Added a new type, 'slot', to track cooldowns for equipped items
Revamped weapon enchants to use a dropdown box instead of a text field
Tweaked the weapon enchant detection code.
v2.00
Rewrite of the timer code management. No longer using an external library.
Initial testing shows more accurate timings and less artificats (0.01 bars, or infite bars)
Some glitches with cooldowns on inventory items if you don't have the item when you load were fixed. This also applies to pet cooldowns if your pet isn't summoned.
Added a bit more delay to weapon enhancement checking. Should make this more accurate, but might need to get even more complex.
All ACE-2.0 dependances removed and updated to ACE-3.0
SVN repository being used - ACE libraries should be current now.
This is also the first step towards configuring colors and textures.
There may be some issues with garbage collection/cleanup. If you notice memory leaks or high cpu usage please report it.

Hi,
Nice simple addon that does the job well.
A do have few suggestions though.
1. The ability to set a lower threshold in seconds, where if below that, the bar will turn yellow (or custom color picker if possible), e.g if I set the current Seconds option to 10, the bar starts to shrink at 10 secs left, then if I set the proposed new setting to 6 the bar would then turn yellow at 6 seconds and continue shrinking.
2. The ability to hide the text on the bar and only show the icon
3. The ability to control how the seconds left display is shown, e.g. I prefer a simple second count down without decimals.
These are all good suggestions which I'd like to add in at some point, I just don't have time to do so currently.
Also would you prefer to see these set as per-bar or per-group settings? The UI is already a bit cluttered for configuration so I'm a bit hesitant to add more per-bar options.
love your addon, thanks for updating :)
(btw, previous version was Timers-v4.06.zip if I remember correctly - why is it now Timers-v1.07.zip?)
Yikes. I'll fix that this weekend.
Was doing a mass version bump for all the mods I wrote and looks like I typod this one.
version fixed - sorry about the confusion everyone. Looks like I had the TOC right but when i tagged it for release used the wrong number.
I think the problem is the mod just goes to look for what's on cooldown. It checks the first one in the list, sees its on cooldown and displays it.
I believe if you have one set as a buff it should always show which is active. But the cooldown tracking only keeps track of cooldowns, not what triggered the cooldown in the case of shared abilities.
you can google for "list of raid buff spell ids" (include the double quotes), this spreadsheet will make it easy to create alias timer bars for certain raid buffs. this is convenient for certain classes that can choose from a large pool of available buffs (for example shamans or hunters)
Always been a bit tough tracking cooldowns as many abilities are linked. So not always obvious which is meant.
Been debating making it much more complex by tracking spell cast events but that starts to make the mod a bit more brittle too (the last two patches have changed how those are tracked so the mod would've survived patch day less well)
Can someone help me?
In the case of the Holy Word spells, it is better to use spell IDs. Use them instead of the spell name (for example, instead of typing "Holy Word: Serenity", simply type "88684" into the textbox)
Here are the relevant spell IDs:
Chakra: Serenity = 81208
Holy Word: Serenity = 88684
Chakra: Sanctuary = 81206
Holy Word: Sanctuary = 88685
Does this solve your problem? If not, please let me know.
Best Regards, -Veela

One question is it able to track Vampiric Embrace as so far been unable to get it to show as active. I realise this is an aura rather than a normal buff, but I feel stupid for not being able to get it to work?
Ty in advance for any help you can give
