About Timers

This mod lets you create a list of specific timers to track on yourself, a target, your pet or your focus.

Three main difference between this mod and other timer mods.

  • The bars you make always exist and show up as red if the buff/debuff is missing. This makes it easy to determine if you need to reapply a buff or dot.
  • Buffs, cooldowns and debuffs can be intermingled. This means as a hunter you can track your Explosive Shot cooldown right above the Serpent Sting dot on a target. Or a Death Knight can have Unholy Blight right next to Frost Fever.
  • The bars all use absolute time scales. You can set the scaling factor in the configuration window, but the actual time is always absolute. This means whichever bar is closest to empty will expire first which allows you to look ahead and make a smart decision on which ability to use next based on the order that buffs and debuffs will expire.

  Initial testing shows more accurate timings and less artificats (0.01 bars, or infite bars)
  Some glitches with cooldowns on inventory items if you don't have the item when you load were fixed.  This also applies to pet cooldowns if your pet isn't summoned.
  Added a bit more delay to weapon enhancement checking.  Should make this more accurate, but might need to get even more complex.
  All ACE-2.0 dependances removed and updated to ACE-3.0
  SVN repository being used - ACE libraries should be current now.
  This is also the first step towards configuring colors and textures.
  There may be some issues with garbage collection/cleanup.  If you notice memory leaks or high cpu usage please report it.

    Not sure if i'm doing something wrong but when i log out of the game, all my settings are lost so i have to set everything again when i log back in ?? Can anyone help ?

    Do you have this problem with other addons? Do you quit the game by hitting alt-f4? Or by selecting logout or quit?

    No, just this one and always log out of game properly from the logout button. Managed to find another addon to do the same thing tho :)

    Sorry it didn't work for you. Hadn't seen that happening before. Wonder if it might be a localization issue - are you playing on a US client or elsewhere?

    I have the same problem with my characters. The only character that seem to keep his settings is my paladin. Guess Timers likes Pallys? :)

    No, Europe. I'll try it again in a few days, like this one better then the replacement i found, much easier to set up :)

    I haven't really tested the localization. Started with it from another mod I had done some with, but never done much. Not sure how that would impact saving the profile - I used the normal ace DB routines but I could've missed something.

    Did you change talent specs between loads? I think it defaults to use the character profile, but it might be using your spec to pick the default profile setting.

    I have the same problem, also a Europpean player. I didn't change my spec ore anything else. Just made the settings and loged out, logged back in and everything is gonne, Haven't hade this problem with any other addon

    One major problem I have with this addon is, as an arms warrior, I have rend being tracked. Sometimes, it actually tracks OTHER warriors rend, aside from my own. Now... when it isnt even tracking my own dot, it kinda defeats the purpose of having this addon..

    Click the 'mine' button next to the right of the debuff name and it'll track only your rend. (its to the right of the 'Shows On' dropdown)

    I love this addon, but there seems to be a problem with the "locked" option. I lock the bars but i can still move them around..

    I'll check on this.

    Does it still let you move it after you relog or reload? And does the title bar change to the "locked" state?

    I have the opposite problem. Am unable to move some bars even when they are unlocked.
    The anchor appears, but you can't do anything with it.
    Sometimes creating a new bar will allow you to move it, but not very often.
