About TipCounter

Information:

This addon will add item count, stack size, item id and item level to all item tooltips that you hover with your mouse.
If you have 3 Arcane Dust in your bags and 14 Arcane Dust in your bank the tooltip will say: "You have: 3(14)"
in-game configuration has been implemented to turn off unwanted features.

Configuration:

  • Locate the addon in the inferace->addon menu
  • Type /tipcounter in chat

Localization:

Simplified Chinese (zhCN) and Traditional Chinese (zhTW) done by wowuicn

French done by ckeurk

To add your language please use the localization app on Curseforge and it will be uploaded on the next version push.

    Will this tell you if you have the item you hover over on another toon? I know Bagnon does that, but I didn't like how it altered my bank frame, so I got rid of it and use OneBag3 now. But I'm missing the ability to know if I have an item I want on another toon. I was hoping there was a stand-alone addon for that, this sounds close, though.

    This doesn't store anything between sessions so it will not show what you have on other characters.

    It may sound like you are looking for something like Altoholic.

    is there a way to configure it to check your guild bank when it comes to bank toons that may come in handy, all in all great app
    one minor thing i have noticed is if you click on the item link in chat it gets messed up with my autioneer appraisal

    Could you be more specific on the auctioneer issue?
    I don't use auctioneer but i will try to install it and have a look at it.

    what happens is that sometimes the tip counter information will have the auctioneer info showing up on top of it, but since its transparent you can still see it. ill link a screen shot but i spilt coffe on my ket board so that and half of my number pad is broken

    Oooo...does this tell you bank/bags amount? and does the tooltip only show up on items you have in your bags, or would it work say hovering over an item in AH?

    It counts what you have in your bag and (bank) if any. If you are at the auction house it should still tell you how many of the item you have in bags and (bank).
