@ixoth: This is a problem within TipTac and the file you need to update is core.lua within TipTac.  There is nothing wrong with TitanPanel.lua as this a local problem to TipTac.

@kilthro: If you're seeing <?> for the button output on a plugin, that means Titan Panel is trying to display an error.  Put your cursor over it to see what it's complaining about.  I use Auctioneer with Titan Panel without issue on a daily basis so it's not a conflict between the addons.  Error 134s are usual a form of file corruption.  A bit of Googling will prove that.

@nomisnz: Interesting request.  At the moment, since each character name and server name is used to identify each entity, this is not possible.  It should be possible to "combine" servers within the TitanGold logic to show both.  Such as ServerA and ServerB are migrated so combine their counts.  This will need to be entered as an enhancement on our Google Code site so it doesn't fall through the cracks.  Follow the instructions above for "Bug Reports".

@dragonsjewl: Each bar has only one option for text formatting.  You cannot have specific plugins centered and others left-justifed.  We tried an experimental build with it and the plugins would often overwrite each other in the display so we discarded allowing individual text alignment and stuck to bar alignment rules.  The main (top or bottom) bar will allow support plugins (volume, recount, bankitems, clock, etc.) to be right-justified on a bar with normal plugins being left or center-justified.  You can manually make text alignment changes, if you wish, within each plugins entry inside the WTF folder TitanPanel.lua but it's unsupported by us.

@PINCHOCL: It already moves up to get out of the way quickly.  Having it fade would just make it a slower process with more CPU intensive.  If you really want this, I will need to be entered as an enhancement on our Google Code site so it doesn't fall through the cracks.  Follow the instructions above for "Bug Reports".

    @Caaruzo: Thank you.

@Diomni: That's great news.  Thank you and good luck.

Unfortunately I can not hover over it since the game crashes to the desktop with bliz send report screen.
I have two accounts one on one pc and one on another. On one pc i dont really ever have this happen but i only do a scan here or there. on the other account, its pretty much scanning all the time. Since I have killed titan pannel I have gone almost a week and no error. I enabled it last night and after 20 minutes bam error again. So not sure why it would only happen once I enable that addon. Just seems that when mem usuage is really high (large ah) this is when i see the error. If the mem usuage is 300 or mid 200's i never have had it happen. So wasnt sure if the pannel with one of its plugins is having issues when mem consumption is so high. When the error happens its in the upper 400s or just over 500 megs. I will keep messing it with but i suspect something is conflicting.

There is some problem with tiptac addon. The tooltip is visible only shortwhile. Here's a topic about it: https://code.google.com/p/titanpanel/issues/detail?id=1000

I wasn't able to find that method in the TitanPanel.lua anymore.

    Please fix this..

Oh thanks for this. i have experienced this as well. I was wondering what was causing  this problem.

    Hello,
For a while now I have been getting error error #134 fatal condition  Lua Panic memory block to big when scanning the ah. When I kill all addons besides Auctioneer the problem doesnt happen. After process of elimination, I have narrowed it down to Titan Pannel. When this happens i noticed the performance monitor is <?> on the bar. Unfortnately there isnt anything else i can get since fatally kills wow. Memory use it 400 to 500 megs when this happens. Once i disable titan panel, the problem doesnt happen. Any reason why this would be happening with titan pannel enabled? Even if its just autioneer and titan panel enabled nothing else, it happens.

    TitanGold

First off - love the Titan addon, it was first addon I ever got - many moons ago.

I was just wondering, with the TitanGold addon, it displays your total gold on the server, which is fantastic. But I just started a toon on a server that my server is merged with (so I can still mail gold between them) and it is not included.

Can we have them add together? (possibly optionaly if some people are against it for some reason)

Thanks for your time - gj!

Gosh I really hope I'm just missing something, even though I read the directions. Anyway How come I can't have left center and right text anymore? I've been gone for a while so didn't realize this change happened in Titan. I don't like that if I choose centered, all the stuff on the left moves. My OCD is driving me nuts cuz the only thing that should be centered on my bars is guild/friend info on top and performance info on the bottom. Is there any way to make that work?

  • #2661

Could you add fading for when the bar is set to auto hide?

  • #2660

Thx for reply honor, i will do several proof screens for you later that day and send it via mail to you.

Thanks HonorGog for such a great addon, and for getting the ball rolling with a tiptac fix for the dissapearing tool tips! And thanks to the guys in that thread who figured out the problem!

@Sarock: Try removing specific plugins.  Titan Panel itself will not do this.

@firstmagic: I use the Titan Recount plugin but I'm not seeing the delay.  I think I'm using the old one by Sundendeath2000 if I remember correctly.

@Flappers: I cannot duplicate this problem.  The bar did not appear during combat so I have no idea what you're seeing.  When I'm in combat, the bar is hidden and will not show up.  I think you may be using this incorrectly.  The option to lock the bar during combat is to leave the bar hidden and then prevent moving the cursor to a bar area and having it show up.  If you leave the bar visible, any mouse over/click will open up the tooltip.   That's the way it works.

I am having an issue, when I kill an NPC I get a quick lag spike, maybe 1/2 second. Nothing crazy just a little annoying. disabled addons to narrow it down to this one.

  • #2657

I had an issue with the Recount plugin for Titan that would do that.  It freakin' annoyed me, so I turned off that plugin and the lag spikes went away.

  • #2653

@Flappers: I added this as an issue on our Google Code site so I'll look into it.

@LordSpike: Sounds like the TipTac error again.  Please check out https://code.google.com/p/titanpanel/issues/detail?id=1000 for more information.

@Caaruzo: I've added the TitanXP problem with showing kills not being able to be disabled to our Google Code site as an issue so I'll take a look at it.  As for the other one, I never see it.  When it happens, please take a screenshot and then mail it to me at honorgog at gmail dot com or just create an issue on our Google Code site as listed above under "Bug Reports".

@mrseitson: TitanPanel fully supports the LDB environment so "Broker Garrison" should work for this.  I lack the time to develop something specific and since it's already been done, no need to reinvent the wheel.

@wackyeh: You're the first to report his but Caaruzo above did as well so I've opened an issue on our Goggle Code site which means I will look into it.
