About Titan Panel [RaidIDs]
Latest is v2.4.71 This addon shows all active Raid-IDs (including heroic 5-man instances) as you would have typed in /raidinfo on mouse-over on your TitanPanel. It stores the instance IDs for each character, so you can check all occupied instance IDs from all you characters on the realm. <HR> v2.4.71 Details: German localization updated (thanks to CUDiLLA). v2.4.70 Details:<BR></BR>
- Raid lockouts sorted to display first, highlighted color.
- Raid lockouts display raid size and boss kills vs total bosses in the raid.
- Added condensed info display option.
- Toggle display of 'Reset in' text on default view.
- NPC names (hiding and showing) has been expanded to all in-game names.
- Refined default view and improved compact view of lockouts.
- Right-click menu added to enable/disable options (ie compact view, etc).
- Sad looking padlock icon added (sorry! No skill making 16x16 size icons.)
- Options are saved and recalled for later sessions.
If you care to change colors used, most colors in the displays are now declared and setup at the beginning of the TitanRaidIDs.lua file. (Save a backup of your changes though, as any new version will replace the file and your custom color scheme will be lost.) Use an editor like notepad++ from "http://notepad-plus-plus.org/". Included basic frameworks in the localization file for every language I found on curse with Locale codes. Just need translations swapped in over the filler values. <HR>Localizations completed: German (Basster & CUDiLLA), Latin American Spanish (partially done) (Valandris) <BR></BR>
2.4.71 - German localizations updated (thanks to CUDiLLA).
2.4.70 - Raid lockouts now sorted to show first, highlighted color, and display raid size and boss kills vs total bosses in the raid. You can show or hide 'Reset in' text on default view now. Added condensed info option toggle, which is applied to either default or compact view. Logged in main lockouts use green colors, alts use orange colors now (applied to both view styles).
NPC names (hiding and showing) has been expanded to all in-game names. It reads your current settings and saves them, and toggles all names to be hidden, and restores your original name display settings when showing names. If you change what names are displayed, use the 'Update!' RC menu option to have the add-on store your new name display settings to toggle back to.
2.4.60 - Removed reset time's 'seconds' portion (can edit the TitanRaidIDs.lua file and re-enable if you want, just commented it out). The default window has been refined slightly, the compact view has been improved more, logged-in alt shows at top now like in default view, it's gotten more compact in displaying lockouts across main and alts, hopefully still remaining readable.
Right click menu added, toggle between default and compact views of lockouts. Icon added, can toggle it to show or hide it, can toggle the text label on the button to hidden or be shown.
Left-clicking the button label (by default at first) cycles through a few different label styles to use. You can select one you prefer, hide or not hide icon, and then enable Left-Click to toggle hiding or showing all npc names. Yes it's not remotely related to this addon's core purpose, but once you find a label style you like you probably won't change it much, it's nice for taking a clean screen shot, free of names all over.
All the new options are saved and recalled unless something goes badly wrong, like WoW crashes, computer lockout, etc. If all settings are lost, it uses sane defaults to start with.
If editing a text file doesn't scare you, look over the TitanRaidIDs.lua file, vast majority of elements displayed are now controlled by the visual settings at the beginning, color especially, don't like the colors used, you can edit it and plug in your own color scheme. No in-game UI for changing colors though, sorry.
Also included basic frameworks in the localization file for every language I found on curse with Locale codes. Just need translations swapped in over the filler values.
2.4.52 - Single version now, the compact display of lockouts is an option, but there isn't a UI for toggling it yet. There is a switch for it at the very beginning of the TitanRaidIds.lua file.
2.4.51 - Fixed nil value and UI errors, updated ToC to 4.x.
Orig should work as previous versions have, look the same.
2.4.41 - Implemented 10/25 normal/heroic
2.3.40 - Bugfix for new 3.2 instance id system.
Added instance ID storage, so you can see which IDs have been occopied from your alternative chars on your realm.

I have been maintaining this add-on since Bassters leaving. And tried to be added to the project since then. He was not around to seeing my messages for the longest. Good news is he sent me a mail not long ago. I did try and post it here to curse ever since it was abandoned. Though the mods here said I could not without Bassters approval. So if all goes well. I will be posting my version. If you all read the below comments it has been worked on by me for some time. Just not added to curse. I also was planning to add features like filters for specific expansion content lock-outs etc. Anyways have a good day all.
For those a bit lazy to read older comments. It has had a lot of fixing under the hood and streamlined the code a bit. Lots of little tinkers. An old design of how mine looks can be see here:
http://oi52.tinypic.com/fd4s1z.jpg
Though I would love if someone had the time to designing raid lock-out time icons for it. Max time, medium time, ending soon and a completed icon. Thats sort of what you see besides a 8/8 right now you just see a completed icon circle.
I should explain simply why I went with timers over time.
Heroic: 24 hrs, 12 hrs, & 6 hrs
Raid: 1 week, 3 1/2 days, 1 day
The timers work off the actual reset timer for both. So whichever time it is and falls under. It gets the appropriate time item (max time/medium time, ending soon).
And many basic options can be simply toggled on and off at will.
Your version looks different enough, and probably has enough of your own coding to qualify as an indepenant variant of this addon. Have you tried submitting yours as a new version based on this author's work instead of as an update to this addon?
Either way, does your version track Galleon and Sha of Anger kills? I'd love to see that support added into this addon. (note: I understand there doesn't seem to be any lock out data for sha/galleon in the blizzard interface, but tracking a kill of these specific mobs and then mabye using a simple popup dialog to have the player confirm they killed the boss would allow work well enough)
Also, Raid Finder boss kill data would be an awesome additon as well.
Definitely missing this addon!
Please update for 5.x this is going to be very handy when I start doing all the new raids.
hello,
please update this addon, i love it so much
Could you add support for RaidFinder-Loot-Lockouts?
Would be very nice :)
I will add that support in my ongoing version .. just message me. You can see the adds/changes in the code ive done in previous posts. Cheers.
Skimming through the comments, it seems pretty frustrating that Crispy doesn't simply give up the addon to someone better. Message me the newest version you have or just release it on another site. I would love to use it. For example, Curse has no juristiction on WowInterface, that's ZAM's territory.
The end factor being my code remains my code. And have directly noted this to CrispyToast. As such he can not just post a new version, which is all my work. And claim its his. This is a right I did not allow him to have. Though it can be willingly added if one day I also become a maintainer. Otherwise my changes will never be seen. And I did try to create a alternate to this, though Curse noted that it must be the original author that can give this permission. And that maintainers do not have this power. As CrispyToast had noted I could develop mine off on my own. So all thats left really is becoming a maintainer to the same project. Or just including my work into another add-on one day and releasing it as some utility work.
Sorry to hear .. I have personally been updating this with many new functions/features. Though with the lack of response from CrispyToast (maintainer) .. I have left it as per my own design. With the following aspect of it being fully recoded there have been numerous fixes in the source. Truthfully and without malice I do think the original author chose a maintainer too quickly. As CrispyToast worked on this for about a month then stopped. The code needed a lot of work which I ended up doing. My version does a filtration between expansions and levels. As well as numerous options to hide/show just about anything. So you can custom the way you want it to look. Initially the source didn't do this so well .. was mainly a duplication then edit factor. I have since been a bit busy, though the recode to optionalize it to its own frame is the next TODO. In short moving it away from Titan Panel (for the users who do not use TP). As well as giving it a inclusionary measure for those that do (as normal).
I have not encountered any issues with my version across any localization.
Hopefully, this add-on doesn't see CrispyToast further in AWOL.
Never once was anything I did about raw speed of the addon, or reducing it's memory footprint to the slightest size possible. I can't speak for Basster, though I personally don't mind if you do a code split aiming for extreme small size and speed with your own flavor of presentation.
Have you considered how to display exact boss names and which live and which have been slain, into the display? Given the orig purpose was a broad overview of lockouts for your logged character and your alts on the server, that adds in alot of fine detail to each character's lockout info display, making the tooltip window extremely long, if you got a few active raiding alts.
