For me the addon show 390% on drood flyin form and the same for other flying mount.

    The max is 310.

    There is a problem.

Anyone else just plain not having the Speed panel show up as an option in TitanPanel? Everything I have is up to date, but it doesn't appear as an option under any of TP's sections.

I can't get it to show up for me either

    like your comment?
To the contrary, this addon helps me always know which method of travel is faster and by how much. You've never wondered, "Hey, do these +speed effects stack? I can't tell"? Not even the measurement blizzard added to the paper-doll frame is an accurate constant, it only tells you how fast your potential currently is, not how fast you're currently moving (in any direction or method).
Thanks to this addon, I know that using a +speed enchant on my boots is a waste if I have a passive skill/talent that increases my movement by 8%, because they're exactly the same bonus!

I made some small changes to the .lua file in order to add a toggle to display the speed in kilometers per hour (I've always wanted to know that). In case someone is interested, I can post it somewhere—if the author is ok with that, of course.

    line 53 --TitanPanelButton_OnLoad(self)

    add to line 53: --[[ TitanPanelButton_OnLoad(self) --]]

    to stop load error

This change really needs to be done, otherwise this addon forces an error with the latest TitanPanel (TitanPanel- Just commenting out line 53 gets rid of it ;)

    Best regards, Asjaskan

If you change line 45 to:
speed = math.cos(GetUnitPitch("player"))*GetUnitSpeed("player")/0.07 and you change line 63 to read speedtext = speed you will get the absolute velocity of your character, running or flying. Flying speed is affected by the pitch, running is not.

Nothing in the WoW API allows for a height, or distance above ground display.

I am looking for add-on that will tell me my "ALTITUDE" in the game for when I am flying, or just climbing a mountain, or swimming depth based on a common "0" level such as "Sea Level" I have been searching everywhere, but this add-on and "flight HUD" are the only ones doing anything with flying and pitch, but "NONE" offer an altimeter. I am not a programmer, and have no clue what a lau is or what is for, so I am at the mercy of you who have worked so hard to make others' gaming experience much better.

If you want to get rid of the "plug in already loaded error" you need to comment out
    line 53 --TitanPanelButton_OnLoad(self)

as of Titan Panel versio (2010-06-15)
Titan now does a two step process to register a plugin. On the creation of the frame Titan queues the frame. Then when the player enters the world the queued plugins will actually be registered. What this means is for those plugins that create the frame in code then call 'TitanPanelButton_OnLoad' will cause Titan to give an 'already loaded' error. As long as the .registry is set before the player enters the world the call to 'TitanPanelButton_OnLoad' is not needed. Despite this error, the plugin is usually fine.

How do you turn it on

Your add-on is great in so many ways :-) It is so great I thank you so much for this add-on! I have been using Titan Speed since October 2008 on my gnome rogue. It is indispensable.
