About Broker_HunterStableInfo

With HunterStableInfo you have a quick overview of your stable and all the pets you've tamed in the past. It gives you information about the name, level, family and class of all possible 25 pets you can store in your stable. Even if you're not at the stablemaster you can see what pets you already have. New with version 4.2: See all pet abilities in a 2nd tooltip! You can also see your current active pet in titan panel (or any data-broker supported addon) with its happiness and level.

Main features of HunterStableInfo: (newest version: 4.3b)

  • Lib Data Broker Support (you will need a LDB supported bar-addon like titanpanel or bazooka to use HunterStableInfo)
  • See all your 25 pets with name, level, family and class even if you're not at the stablemaster
  • Quick overview of all pet abilities in a 2nd tooltip
  • See your current active pet on the LDB display

How to use HunterStableInfo:

  • Left-Click on the button shows all pet abilities in a new tooltip.
  • Shift-Left-Click on the button toggles the pet frame.
  • Right-Click on the button shows/hides hints in the tooltip.
  • Shift-Right-Click on the button shows/hides your stabled pets in the tooltip.
  • Left-Click on a pet entry in the tooltip shows the pet's 3D model.
  • Right-Click on a pet entry in the tooltip shows the pet's abilities.
  • Right-Shift-Click on a pet entry in the tooltip shows the pet's diet.

Latest Changes:

  • Removed the pet level on the broker button

Localization:

  • This addon will work with the enUS and deDE WoW client.
  • Full translation for the French and Spanish client are still missing. Petfamilies and classes will work, though.

    By the way, the pet level shown in the broker text is now kind of obsolete. Could you please turn it off or give us an option to turn it off to save some bar space?

    I have a non supported bar - Slidebar. I wanted HunterStableInfo so installed Bazooka, that works fine, then installed HunterStable and I get nothing. It will tell me on the bar what pet I have out but that's it, the rest says empty. I go to a stable master and check, move pets around even tamed a new pet but still HunterStable says empty for every slot. What am I doing wrong?

    Checked again and found when I have the stable master window open and mouseover HunterStable it shows all the pets but as soon as I close the stable master window all slots in HunterStable go back to empty.

    Can you tell me what bar addon you're using?
    I've tested it with titanpanel, bazooka and chocolatebar with the english and german wow client without any problems.
    Two friends tested my addon with their hunters and they had no issues, it worked just fine.

    What is displayed on the tooltip when the stablemaster window is not open? Is there even a tooltip or just "empty slot" for all your pets? it would be nice if you can upload a screenshot if it so I can see whats not working there.

    and can you test the following command?
    "/run local a, b = GetStablePetInfo(1); if(b) then print(b) else print("empty") end"
    This should give you the name of your pet for slot 1 - 25, just change the number...

    Could you please disable all other addons and just enable titanpanel/bazooka/... with hunterstableinfo. Will the problem still be there?

    Thanks for the comments, I hope I can fix this bug but I'm very busy at the moment =)

    I'll get online right now and run that test script. I'll try to get a screenshot, as well, and get accurate answers for your other questions.

    In the meantime, I use DockingStation for my bar addon, if that helps, at all.

    If I have my stable open and I run your script, it names my first callable pet. If I don't have the stable open and I run your script, it says, "empty."

    I haven't disabled all my addons yet to try that. I'll do that at the end of my night of playing.

    Thanks for your help, now I know what's not working correctly there. But I honestly don't know why it's not working.
    It has nothing to do with any bar addon it's just that command.

    Usually you can get information of all your 25 pets with this command wherever you are and not just at the stablemaster.

    Are you sure your're using the latest WoW version? :D
    Maybe it has something to do with the us and european wow realms. But I'm sure there's no difference between them...

    If I can't find a solution for this I'd need to recode a lot of my addon to make it work for all of you. But that would take some time cause I don't find any for coding right now :D
