About Titan Panel [Wintergrasp]
NOTE: This project is obsoleted by Titan Panel [PvP] now. Additional functionality will be contained in Titan Panel [SaveInfo]
Adds a Wintergrasp timer to TitanPanel and provides some other information about Wintergrasp in its tooltip.
Features
- Adds a timer to TitanPanel, coloured to denote which faction controls WG (green if yours, red if not)
- Records save information for VoA for all of a player's characters, even across realms, that use the addon
- Allows a user to broadcast the time to a selected channel
- Allows a user to auto-announce a 15 minute warning to guild, trade, and/or yourself
- Uses a variety of methods to provide accurate estimates when the actual time information is not available
- Communicates with other addon users on your server to synchronize
- Designed to be very lightweight; ie, it uses very little CPU and has a small memory footprint
FAQ
Q: Does TitanWG have any dependencies, other than TitanPanel itself?
No.
Q: Do you have to go to Dalaran in order to update the addon's status?
No.
Q: Does TitanWG make use of other WG addons if they're present?
No.
Q: How do I report a bug or request a feature?
Please use the ticketing system provided by Curse. This is greatly preferable to posting comments as it allows me to properly track them. While I love to receive comments, bug reports and feature requests will almost certainly require a ticket anyhow.
Q: Does TitanWG support any language other than English?
Currently, translations exist for German, Spanish, Russian, and French. (Thanks to Gomntep, LigthSora, StingerSoft, and Alain for providing those.)

I'm glad you came back. Can't wait for your update! I also really wish Blizzard would allow checking of who owns WG regardless of location, rather than having to be in a Northrend area at least once during the 2.5 hr ownership lockout. Knowing just the timer is dumb.
Regardless, if it persists you can try to remove the saved data file for it; eg, c:\World Of Warcraft\WTF\Account\MyAccountName\SavedVariables\TitanWG.lua
BTW, if others on your server are using this addon, it should sync with them to give you the ownership info even if you're not in NR.

@Zikto: The code's written such that it shows all your characters. While I'm in the code I'll try to get to adding an option for do what you mention.

THANK YOU for an excellent addon!
Having said that, I do plan on updating the mod when 4.0 comes out for the new zone: Tol Barad. I'm not sure exactly how this will look. Likely, I'll update this addon and provide additional functionality with options to enable/disable the different zones (WG, TB). The other option, I guess, is to fork and create a TitanTB addon.
@bozo: That's a fine idea and I'll try to find the time to do that in the maintenance patch (see above). I haven't thought of it cos I always /leave general on my toons heh

also for an added feature is there anyway to add "General" to the list of Auto announce? another good thing would also to have the mod announce again at 2mins till. :D
Just wanted to say good job on an awesome addon.
I've recently switched servers and my WG timer still lists all of my toons on the old server...is there a way to remove that list so it only shows my toons on my new server?

This addon is very usefull, but there's just a little bug in the French version.
In the Localization.frFR.lua file, you should replace L["TITAN_WG_WINTERGRASP"] = "Essence du Joug-d'hiver" by L["TITAN_WG_WINTERGRASP"] = "Joug-d'hiver".
Then the WinterGrasp owner is correctly displayed.
