Track Cooldowns tracks and displays following raid/party spells:

Features

  • Hiding any spell from tracking.
  • Hide your own spells.
  • Track only your own cooldowns.
  • Choose channels to report about ready spells.
  • Fully customizable tracking bars.
  • Track cooldowns in raids, parties, battlegrounds, or while alone.
  • Synchronization between addon owners to get correct spell cooldowns, including glyphs and talents (might still need some updating).
  • Synchronization cooldowns from owners oRA and CTRA (Rebirth, Soulstone Resurrection and Reincarnation).
  • Cooldown resets through boss tracking. DBM or BigWigs must be installed to take advantage of this feature.
  • Report screen which tracks the various cooldowns used by players in your raid/party/etc.
  • Group cooldowns by class (and then sort by time) or just sort by time alone.

Configure

To configure the addon use Interface/AddOns tab in the main menu or right click on AddOn anchor.

Slash commands:

  • /tc - shows available commands
  • /tc toggle - enable/disable the addon
  • /tc config - displays configuration window
  • /tc reset - resets all current cooldowns
  • /tc test - shows some test bars
  • /tc report - shows cooldown report screen

    Hi - nice looking add-on, I'm looking forward to getting it running. However, as a Dps Frost Mage, I feel distinctly left out.

    The cd's you have for a mage are actually all event related rather than cd - after all I don't think anyone is waiting for the exact second that Ice Block or Invisibilty becomes available in order to use it. If it's there when it's needed - ie I am going to be severely spoken to by a boss or his crew - that's great, if not then other plans need to be made.

    The same goes with the other spells, Time Warp is a good one to track, but as the cooldown is so long I use it once at the start and then hope it's available when I'm taking a severe beating at the end of a boss fight. Ring of Frost is an opportunity spell to use only if needed, and so too is Counterspell.

    The thing is - none of these (bar a possible 2nd use of Time Warp) actually help with DPS where every split second counts. The cd tracking I'm looking for is on things like glyphed Evocation, Icy Veins, Frozen Orb, Mirror Image, Presence of Mind, and especially my choice of using Living Bomb. These are the ones which make a difference between my doing a great job and just a reasonable one. Having to keep switching my view to the action bars and my portrait while trying to watch the action, press all the right buttons and calculate dangers slow my choices down, so seeing those on cooldown bars in my peripheral vision mean I can do them all no problem.

    This is not a moan! I really appreciate the job you've done with this add-on. Instead I'm asking for your assistance to be the best player I can be. :)

    BTW I know Frozen Orb is already in the list, I just included a complete list to illustrate my need.

    I understand :). The original author of this addon made it mostly for raid leaders tracking cooldowns of their raid (or at least that's how it seemed to me). When I initially took it over, I added a lot of cooldowns when I took the addon over, but I know some classes are certainly lacking. I will work on adding more (specifically Mage cooldowns, as you've mentioned) Out of the list you've given, the only one that doesn't quite fit into the philosophy/framework of the addon is Living Bomb. If I'm understanding correctly, you want something to track the duration remaining of your Living Bomb. The addon is meant to track the duration until an ability is usable again. Certainly what you're asking for is a very useful feature, but there are many other addons that track that type of stuff and I feel that adding that type of functionality would require more work than I have the time for (to do it right, at least).

    The rest of what you've suggested is very do-able though. Thanks for the feedback!

    is there anyway to add new cooldowns that are not listed?

    here is a list of new cooldowns i want to track ;p
    Hunter: Exhilaration
    Mage : Ice barrier, Incanters ward, Temporal shield
    Priest : Spirit shell
    Rogue: Feint
    Shaman: Shamanistic rage
    Warlock: Unending resolve
    Everybody: Healthstones

    All but the healthstones and very simple. I can add them for you. As for healthstones, I will look into these. I tried to add them at one point but ran into some issues and didn't have time to go back and look at it. Thanks!

    Hi and thank you for a great add on.

    FEATURE REQUEST: I use TC in Raids. It would be very helpful to have a filter (a switch basically) that enables the reporting (via Chat) of only my own Cooldowns, while still allowing me to view all CD's from Raid members via the Track Cooldown bars.

    As a Raid leader, it's super important to know the current status of everyones CDs in Raid, but because it is quite common that members have their own Add Ons and use their own reporting, having Track Cooldowns report on the same data can be overhwhelming to the Chat channel. This is especially true for a Raid leader that wants to view lots of CD's raid wide for spells and abilities via your bars. Being able to fliter reporting of only my own CD's while still viewing the entire Raid would be awesome.

    NOTE: I'm also curious if Raid reporting via chat is capable via /i ( /instance ) as /r no longer works properly since 5.0 . /p still works great (for 5 man) as does /s in all cases.

    This feature shouldn't be too difficult to add. I will work on it and do my best to get it out soon :). Thanks again for the support and request!

    Edit: This feature has been added and will be pushed out in the latest alpha/beta. I will release it to officially when I have a chance to fully test it in raid this week.
