Is it possible to find out the names of the bars so that I can stick KGPanels artwork to them? Tried /framestack but it doesn't seem to show anything useful.

(Apologies if this is a repeat post my previous question appears to have vanished.)

Wondering if you were able to duplicate the problem?

  • #73

Yea, I'm trying to track down whether it's an EVENT problem or code one.

  • #79

    It also works in Icehud.

My workaround for the time being is to run both Underhood and Icehud at the same time, with everything disabled in Icehud except for the target bar, and then setting that bar not to be visible. Then I move Icehud's target's raid icon (which remains visible with that bar set to non-visible) to my spot above the Underhood target health. But Skull is sideways when done like this, and it's goofy. So, when your fix is done, I'll be grabbing it up.

It also works in xperl (another one not configurable enough for me =p )

Also, although I have no desire to use Shadowed Unit Frames (it's not customizeable enough), I loaded up and tested its icon visibility. Raid icon on target in the UI works in SUF (although once again it is much less customizeable and I don't know if the code in it can help you). But maybe knowing this will help.

Yea, I'm trying to track down whether it's an EVENT problem or code one.

I discovered something kinda interesting. In an effort to find something that would work, I downloaded an addon called "myicon" and modified it to try to do this job. Normally, "myicon" shows whatever icon is on yourself. But I went into the LUA and changed the 'player' references to 'target' (it's a small addon, there were only 2 of them). So now... it works exactly like the broken one in Underhood does! It kinda tries to tell you what icon is on your target, and then gets stuck and screwed up. I wonder what's up with that.

Meh, wish this had been an easy one to find. Being unable to see raid markers in the UI is troublesome.

Good deal, I'll continue to keep an eye out, and good luck with it!

Hey Computerpunk if you're there, long-time user here.

I took a several months break from WoW and when I came back and updated Underhood 2 to the January 23 version (most recent available one), I found that it is having a problem where my TargetRaidIcon  seems to get stuck after I initially select the mob as my target. The unit is set to 'target', visibility is 'show when unit exists' and it always worked fine in the past. What happens is, if I put skull on a target, and then select a different, unmarked target, I continue to see the skull icon in my UI. As I assign other icons (X, square, etc) and target them, the most recently set icon set becomes the one that is more or less stuck on my target in my UI.

I tried removing and recreating the frame, but the new one behaves the same. I'll keep an eye out for a reply or an update to the addon.

Doesn't look like there's any way to edit these bars at all. I can't find any instructions from you guys for how to modify this add-on.

Real life messed me up, can't sub anymore. I'll try pushing updates to keep the AddOn alive, but not improve it until late September.
