About Undress Button

This addon will enhance the Dressing Room by putting two extra buttons to the left of the 'Reset' button.

The first button (from right) will Undress the model.
The second button can be right or left clicked:
- Left: change the model to your current target.
- Right: equip your target's gear on the current model (can be changed with left click)

It will also let you Dress up any model you find in the game world. (Try on your own gear on a gnome passing by)

Don't forget to bind Dressing Room to a button. (I recommend shift+.)

Known issues:
- If you are using another model than your own while walking out of range of that player the reset button will have no effect.
- NPC Models are completely broken as of patch 2.1 because of Blizzard's model fix that allows you to 'see through' shapeshifts.

    Found an error.

    Error occured in: Global
    Message: ..\FrameXML\ModelFrames.lua line 311:
    attempt to index local 'frame' (a nil value)
    Debug:
    ..\FrameXML\ModelFrames.lua:311: SetDressUpBackground()
    UndressButton\UndressButton.lua:26: UndressButton_Reset()

    It appears that SetDressUpBackground() requires 2 arguments now ... here's a quick fix I threw together, just adding the local variable to the function and passing the variables in the function call.

    function UndressButton_Reset()
    local race, fileName = UnitRace("player");
    SetPortraitTexture(DressUpFramePortrait, "player");
    SetDressUpBackground(DressUpFrame, fileName);
    DressUpModel:SetUnit("player");
    end

    it was updated 3 days ago, i just think somehow its not showing on the list as updated, try the newest version

  • #37

    The file here on Curse still shows it as a 4.3 version.

    The toc says ## Interface: 40300 but it should be 50001 for patch 5.0.4

    But it works fine if the user checks Load Out of Date Addons or changes the .toc to 50001

    Newest download is giving us the proper version now. Thanks for the update!

    Hey, can i post a request here?

    I was wonderin' about makin' another button for "Target's Gear"?

    This would allow me to select someone say, an Orc Male, and grab his model, then select myself and use the target gear button to see what I would look like as an Orc.

    Or I could put endgame mage gear on my orc model to see what an orc mage would look like should I make one.
