About Enemy CD and Interrupt Bar

A basic mod that tracks enemy abilities: typically interrupts.

Left Click the bar to move it. Go to the options to lock the bar. You can also hide buttons until they're active. /ib for options. In the options you can make it so the bar only shows when an ability is fired.

Type "/ib" for options there is now option to modify the number of columns.

Type "/ib columns #" with "#" replaced with a number then type '/console reloadui' to update the addon. == This can be used to create a variety of shapes (and use of decimals can yield interesting and occasionally preferable displays).

The addon can be dragged when in the "unlocked" status by clicking+dragging on the top left of the addon.

Flexible and additional updates incoming in the next few days. Works with current version of WoW and is currently fully functional. Addon layout is basic but a "pretty" version is a possibility in the future.

This addon is featured in several PvP videos and has generated a total of about 30,000 hits. I'm now bringing it to curse so that it is more widely available. Thanks to all for your support, and I will continue to maintain this addon for as long as I can.

Be aware that the code can be edited (fairly easily, I might add) so that additional spells are on the list. Tutorials exist online for how to do this.

Any chance you would add padding/spacing and Masque/ButtonFacade support? Would allow it to fit into my UI much better and would be a bit easier on the eyes. All the icons jammed together like that make it a bit difficult to distinguish.

hey i have a problem with the addon, sometimes shows double numbers :S :S and is hard to see the CD left :(

  • #53

i think that is a confiict with a cd tracker like omni cc.

i deletet line 161 and 164 in the iterruptbar lua and it was fine but

i hope the author will fix this

Could you make this bar "auto-configure" when entering arena? So useless icons will be left our or "fade to black" ?

    Could be really nice :)

Anyway, great addon and thanks for sharing this

This is something that is more readily available for this addon than the other suggestions/requests. However, I don't have an active WoW subscription, so I can't test it. I ran into this problem when I tried to modify it last time relying on debugging accounts of others; I ended up reverting to my preliminary version.

is it possible to get a long sleek bar which diminish more and more as the CD is counting down? with the name of the cd in it. like the old NECB used to have :) just seem sto me it will be easier to have a good overlook that way;) anyway, been looking for something like this ever since NECB stopped being maintained, so gonna give it a try now. keep up the good work, this kinda addon is the most important addon we pvpers can have imo! :) gotta love you for that :D

edit and only show in combat function
  • #47
Just type in /ib hide. You don't want it to hide on combat status because in arenas, bg's, world pvp, cooldowns from enemies will still be down, and you'll want to see the status still - but may be out of combat when kiting around a pillar, or in a sheep.

is it posible to add a function when the timer of a Spell is higher then 60seconds then it shows minutes like 2, 3, 4, 5 and how?
  • #46
Yea, I haven't really dealt with Lua since I made changes to this addon, but you would probably just add additional lines to one of the update time/display functions.

I don't remember what Lua has built into it, but you'd take the overall time: say 333 seconds, divide it by 60, store this into a variable. That number will be ~ 5.55, you pull the integer part from the number, store into minutes, and convert the leftover decimal part into seconds. Then have the display seperately display. Or, just have it display the minutes in decimal form like 5.55 until the time is less than 1 min, then do it like normal.

I like the addon but I have one question. Can you tell me how to add and remove spells from the tracker because there are some a few I am not interested in tracking and some others that I do want to track but are not on the list. I tried to add/remove them from the localorder but that only resulted in the addon not working. I think it would be best to explain how to add/remove spells or give us a link to a site that has that covered. Thank you in advance.
