    Hi kevvaxz,

I can't reproduce your problem. How are you leaving the game? You shouldn't do it by pressing Alt-F4, because in this case WoW is not saving anything.

    Posting random enchant gear

Thank you for your work on this addon - I can understand the level of commitment you have taken on supporting an addon used heavily by such a large community.  I have tried several of the auction related addons and auctionmaster blows the others away!

I was wondering if anyone else or you have seen an issue related to selling the random enchant gear (i.e. misthide, stormscale, ghost-forged, windwool, ornate bands, or shadowfire necklace).  I average ~500 auctions at any given time with 3/4ths of them being this style of gear.  When posting these auctions in mass, I have found that while the count for the number of auctions for like items is accurate, when the auctions are actually posted and pulled from my bags, it will pull items from my bag of different enchants (but like craft) than the one I am posting.  The work-around I have found is that if I put all gear of like enchant together, and then post, it will post them correctly.  While this works, it is some times time consuming.  Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated!  Thank you again for your time and efforts with this addon!

    Hi jgkeevis,

thanks for your details. In this case it seems to be a Blizzard issue. I'm telling Blizzard which item to post and how many of it. I have not tested it yet, but you may try it by just deactivating AuctionMaster and selling a stack of items manually.

If this is really the case, I have to deactivate posting of multiple auctions for this kind of items, or inform about this fact with a dialog. :-( I had to do this already for battle pets.

Thank you for looking into this...personally I would prefer if you left the function enabled and described the work around to users since these items are most likely a primary item sold with the addon.  Thank you again for your time, effort and commitment to support Auctionmaster.

    Hi jgkeevis,

thank you very much for your feedback, great to hear that you like AuctionMaster. :-)

That sounds like a bug. How do you put the item up for auction, by drag&drop or by shift-left clicking? Is it afterwards already wrong, or only after posting the auction? You can check it by hovering the mouse over the item in the sell slot.

    Re: Posting random enchant gear

I appreciate the time, I use the shift and left-click option for posting auctions.  The item name and count of the number of that specific item and enchant come up correctly.  The issue occurs when I create the auction, specifically if the items are not together in my bags.  For example, if I have 6 of the same item and enchant in my bags, the count shows the item and count correctly, but if all 6 are not together in my bag and other crafted items of the same type, but different enchant, are mixed in between them, auctionmaster will post the first of this six items (the one I initially selected), and then the others will be the next five of that item regardless of enchant.  If additional information is needed, please let me know.  Thank you again for your time!

I'm having a problem where whenever I'm selling a new item, it defaults to "Market Price".  But when I go under to Edit > Default (which is lit up, implying that is the chosen price method), it says Undercut in the bottom left.  All of the other categories are greyed out.  I know gems have been preprogrammed to behave differently, but it's happening to ALL items.  Would appreciate any help.

    Hi Veev,

you have to deselect "Automatic" in the upper left corner. That's one of the next big things I have to rework, I want to get rid off the Automatic mode and integrate it in a better editable configuration.

First, let me say that I love your addon.  It's the one I feel I couldn't play WoW without.  However, lately, I am unable to log off my character that is running it without either freezing WoW or receving an error.  (Posted at the bottom of this message.)  I have tried everything--reformatting my entire computer, no antivirus, etc, to no avail.  Please help!

    Hi Earthpixie,

great to hear that AuctionMaster is useful for you, thank you very much.

Addons should not be able to cause such errors like you have described. That's an internal WoW problem. Perhaps you should try to play with the 32-Bit WoW client or update your graphic card drivers.

Hi, I love your addon, been using it for years,

I came back to wow recently after 3 months of break and I have an issue with the addon,
I have done a clean install (removed saved variables and downloaded latest version)
The issue is that sometimes when I select undercut it doesn't undercut the bid price properly

for example the lowest bid/buyout for an item are 109g91s0c bid and 116g81s0c buyout, when I select undercut it will calculate 115g81s99c bid and 116g80s99c buyout instead of 109g90s99c bid

there is an item with 115g82s0c bid listed on the AH but some have lower bids

I tried all settings, automatic checked and unchecked, sliders in every way possible in config, etc, nothing helps

    Hi dlarbee,

in the sell section of the configuration you can select, whether the minbid should be taken from the competitors or if it should be a percentage of the buyout price. I think it's a percentage of the buyout price by default.

  • #2132

    Hi dlarbee,

I've just looked in the code, if "calculating starting price" is deselected, the starting price of the same item as for the buyout price is taken. In my opinion it's better to select "calculating starting price" , which is the default behaviour. Oftenly the people start with only a few copper.

  • #2131

calculate starting price is checked, it's not behaving like it used to

edit: I downloaded 5.2.2 and don't have the issue anymore, none of the fixes since that version affect what I do so I'll stick with that version for now, unfortunately my bug is intermittent and probably impossible to reproduce but it's good that you're aware of the issue, I'm sure it's not my settings or other addon since I tried it alone, with cache cleared and clean savedvariables. I've been using this addon for a long time and never had this problem before. So basically the issue is that once in a while when selecting undercut it doesn't look at the lowest bid in the list of all the same items on the AH but at one of the other items in the list
