    Hi vahnshadowtek,

    there is apparantly nothing I can do about it. In this case Blizzard returns that there are several millions auctions. The getAll scan has a limit from something above 42000 auctions. If there are more, only the first 40000 auctions are returned with a reported  total of an absurd high number.

    So you have to wait until after the weekend, when probably fewer auctions are listed. Or you may set the speed to "off", which turns the getAll scans off. But then the scans are very, very slow.

    Is it possible to implement a feature where it shows the percentage above or below the average market price? (like auctioneer). You managed to implement that on the quick scan button, so why not on custom searches? It would be useful to know when we are getting a bargain on day to day shopping or just leave that shopping for the next day.

    Also, is there a reason why when posting a lot of items my frames go down to 1fps?

    Hi,

    after I have reimplemented the statistic database, I will add such an option.

    With next update the cpu-usage while posting auctions should be optimized, I'm currently testing some changes.

    Nice to hear that. Being easy to use is the main goal of AuctionMaster. Easy but with all important functions.

    Hey, I'm just wondering if there is a way to fix scanning? Everytime I do try for a scan I just recieve an error. I've looked on other forums and this problem is happening for a lot of Auction House addons.

    Did the snipe functionality get removed? I don't seem to see "snipe" as a menu option in the current version like shown in the pics.

    Also, getallscan doesn't seem to show my saved searches, but when i double click them, they show up (or doing the long scan).

    Hi Raiko49,

    snipes are still possible. You have to create a saved-search for this feature. To make them available during scans, you have to select the checkbox next to the name of the saved-search. If no saved searches at all are visible in the result, then you have perhaps deselected the saved-searches in the lower left corner.

    Not trying to start a flame war, but how does this compare with auctioneer suite, I was wondering what the main differences are if any, they both scan database prices right?

    Hi nipnapcreations,

    it's a bit like comparing a bicycle with a truck. Both get one from A to B but in different ways. One prefers the simple bicycle and the other wants the large truck. Just try both and build your own opinion. The price scanning is not the main functionality of AuctionMaster.

    Don't know if it's related to what Ssanteneth said, but after updating AuctionMaster, resetting the database, and trying to rune a scan (doesn't matter the speed) it just sits there saying "Performing getall scan. This may last up to several minuets..." and never does anything. I let it sit there for 20 minuets and it still hadn't done anything. I play on US Darkspeaar Alliance side, which is a high pop server although I don't know the total number of auctions at this time.

    The second thing I noticed after updating, was that the "Sell" and "Scanner" tabs at the bottom were pushed to the far right, instead of inline w/ the tab Auctions. Since I also (usually) have AuctionLite running, although it was disabled for the above scan, it's 2 tabs are now inbetween, whereas before it was all of AM's, then AL's. Let me know if you understand?

    Hi vpr555,

    thanks for your report. As far as I know, the timeout relates to many auction items. I will try to handle this with a timeout and a proper error message.

    The tabs will be the first ones again, with next release.

    hi, my addon autoupdated and now searching for anythign doesnt work. i type in a (partial) name for something, click search, and nothing comes up. the search never finishes. plz fix or rollback

     

    edit: console reloadui temporarily fixed. i think it might be a bug with getall. none of my searches worked, the items in defualt window said 1-40000 of something like 2 billion results, was weird.

    I was able to reproduce your problem on a very large server with more than 60k auction items. I found a fix and will release it soon.
