    Please help! :(

    Hey,

So im not sure if i missed an udate or something.

50% of the time when i put an item in to sell it does its scan as usual, however the 'scan time' bar at the top, has at times shown me 2 hours. Which frankly, i dont have the time to test for...

I think this may be due to the newest patch, although i didn't have this problem last time?

Any help would be amazing as this is about the only auction addon i like!

  • #2241

    Hi Chubbychubs423,

that's probably caused by some network lags while scanning the auction house. When the data packets are send fast again, the time calculation should adpat accordingly.

  • #2238

So I have been playing around with the scanner and am wondering if there is a way I can set a rule that will make auctions currently selling  20-30% below their historic average show up on the scan list of items It recommends I buy?  Or if it is even possible to customize the rules for what shows up there other than by vendor price and disenchanting?

Thanks for the addon it is so much easier to use that some of the other auction ones and makes my life much easier.

  • #2239

    Hi dasmooch01,

once I had such a scanner, but I've removed it, because there where too many complaints, that someone has bought X items and wasn't able to sell it. I didn't want to be blamed for unrealistic market prices any longer. ;-)

The other scanners still there may be configured. I have no running client here, so I can't tell you the exact place for doing that. Probably somwhere in the configuration dialog.

Love the addon, but Ive found an issue that bugs me.

If you have an item with a bid lower than buyout, like Angerhide Leg Armor for 550bid/650 buyout.     Then someone bids on it, and its registered fine as expected.

BUT! The big problem. If someone -later- undercuts the item that already have a bid on it, then Scan Auction will mark it as undercut and cancel it if you just mindlessly spam Cancel Undercut.

Expected behavior is that undercut items that have a bid on them doesnt get canceled when you click Cancel Undercut. Protected.

  • #2235

    Hi IcewolfDK,

that makes sense, I will add a check.

  • #2237

This is an easy one: Just click edit, select Gems and choose the desired setting.

  • #2236

    Lovely.

Something else, some odd behavior Ive noticed with gems.

If you persay have 5 primordial rubies and shift-rightclick them in inventory to bring them up on the sell pane,  they will always be initially listed at stacksize 1, amount 2. With no special rules set under the edit tab.

And I then would have to manually set the stacksize or amount to 5  on the sell pane.

Ive seen it happening with practically every single type of gem.

Ores for example shows as expected, stacksize 20 automatically when posting a whole stack of them, so something seems to be off with the logic for gems.

    Help me :D

    Hey love the Addon. :D
    But I have a problem.
How do I  chance the amout of gold I want to put my items on auctionhouse?
Example I want to sell Ghost Iron Bar for 5.5 gold pr item. It will sell it for the lowest price in the AH.
I would love to be able to sell items for my own prices :) Teach me master!

TY FOR DA ADDON! :-)  Love it <3

    Hi simongee,

personaly I prefer to click on the "<" sign in front of any item I want to undercut. That's probably the fastest and best way to select a good price.

But if you really want to sell for a fix price, regardless what your opponents do, you may click on settings and select "fix price" as price calculation. You you check "remember price calculation" and choose "fix price" on the sell tab. "fix price" will always select the last price you have sold this item.

  • #2228

ahhh TY! :D Works perfectly :-)

  • #2217

The database is reset when the file size "AuctionMaster.lua" exceeds 25MB. What can I do to avoid this problem?

  • #2218

    Hi Roys,

do you play on several servers? That could cause this problem.

  • #2232

ah, that's the reason. Currently only the current faction's snapshot may be purged. So if you don't use the auction house of the other faction for some time, it's doesn't get cleaned up in database. Perhaps I find the time to change this someday.

  • #2229

Yes, I play Horde and Alliance on the same server. Neutral auction house is not scan. If you remove all the entries of the Alliance from the database, the file AuctionMaster.lua will be 12-14 MB large, it will give more space for data Horde.
