Any chance to make this addon a sleek way to track resolve, or is the developer not even playing anymore?

  • #25

    I'm not playing anymore, sorry.

Anyone reading this, I need an active (ideally raiding) tank for beta-testing.

Please contact me (PM) if you want to help out. There is not a lot to do, just be comfortable sharing your battletag with me, using the beta releases and telling me about any problems you experience.

I hit the vengeance cap yesterday and my bar has since disappeared. I've tried uninstalling and re-installing the bar to no avail. Also, I've gone into settings, ticked and unticked always show, etc.

What can I do to fix this addon?!

PS - I don't want to use another vengeance bar addon or weakaura because I love the style of this one!

I'm sorry you are having problems, but... Please post a ticket (you can log in with your curse account)

Also, I will probably need some additional information to track this down, so please do the following:

    • Install BugSack (or a similar addon)
    • Restart WoW
    • If you already see an error dialog popping up upon login, copy and paste this message (there may be more than one error, just get them all successively)
    • If you don't see an error on login, please enter combat in you tank spec, an error should pop up.
    • Add this report to the ticket.

Ok, i tried messing with the interface settings while in combat and some errors have come up. There are 28 errors. I have posted them as a comment on the ticket i created.

Please create a ticket anyway, and attach your

    (WOW)/WTF/(ACCOUNT)/(REALM)/(CHARACTER)/Vengeance.lua

    file.

There is no error. The vengeance bar just doesn't appear.

  • #16

Hmm, where can you change the border? I dont see where it gets the current border from either :P I want another border simply.

  • #17

You can disable the border in the settings dialog.

I have never thought about adding an option to change the border style though, so you can't (at least without some coding of your own)

    Thanks a lot :)

ouch, I'm sorry I totally forgot about the patch, will look into it

  • #14

    This should be fixed now.

Thanks for the update.  Finally got it working.  I did find out that the addon does not work if I have DispelBorder turned on though.  Which isn't a problem because I don't need that addon for my paladin.
