About VentHelper
This addon makes connecting to Ventrilo servers easier with one alt-tab. By entering the server info into the addon you get a link that you can put in the windows run box or a web browser and you get connected to the server right away.
Slash commands: /venthelper /vh
This is my first addon. I hope it makes things easier for you as it already has me and my friends.
This addon is in NO way related to the great QuestHelper.
The Obvious: you need Ventrilo installed.
The Unknown: I have no clue if these ventrilo:// links work for the Mac version of Ventrilo.

One of those will *probably* do the trick.
Marked as experimental, so it doesn't show up on curse itself, but it does the trick.
can see who is speaking on vent who is on vent etc with out even tabing out
However, you cannot have an addon access any information of any kind outside of the WoW environment. At all. Period.
BUT THERE IS HOPE!!!!!
After googleing the topic I found this forum post on the wow forums where a guy points to a program that does this. I have not yet downloaded that program so make sure you scan it for viruses and such.
