About VialCooldowns
VialCooldowns - Patch 5.2
By: Ezzpify/Compile - EU Stormreaver
Updated for patch 5.2
Contact me at: VialCooldowns@hotmail.com or ingame on Stormreaver-EU (Ezzpify)
====== Description: =======
This is an AddOn which will show all the cooldowns of an enemy above their nameplates. The addon has a small config near the top of Vial.lua for changing iconsize, x y offsets and the font.
Every player spells is added to the list but if you wish to add more spells you can do that by opening VialCds.lua with notepad and add the spell ID and spell. To enable or disable watched spells open Vial.lua in notepad and add or remove the comments --
====== Bug reports: ======
- If you find any bugs with this addon, please let me know in the comments or please send me a PM.
====== Q&A's ======
The addon doesn't have an in-game config, how can I edit the size and font?
- The addon does not have an ingame config yet. I will add that when I get some time over. You can however change the size, font and X&Y axis if you open up Vial.lua with notepad, and you'll find the config at the very top.
Will this addon become messy in battlegrounds if all the cooldowns are shown?
- No, not at all! All the cooldowns of nearby players will not be shown on only one target. The cooldowns on an enemy will be shown on it's own nameplate. So if a paladin and a priest stands next to eachother, you will see the priest's cooldowns above his nameplate, and the paladin's cooldowns over the paladins nameplate!
If one player uses a cooldown but is not in range of me, will the cooldown still show up on the nameplate?
- Yes it will show the cooldown of the target EVEN if he/she was out of your range when he/she used it! No need to worry about that!
VialCooldowns Change log for v1.4.1
- Updated to 5.2
Welcome to patch 5.2, The Thunderking!
Just updated the cooldowns a bit, since I forgot to remove some commented out spells when I was testing it. Changed font and removed some unessesary code!
Other than what I mentioned above, no major changes has been made yet ;)

Hope you enjoy the patch as much as I do! Take care guys!

[09:31:57] Healers Have To Die_NPH_NPR: WARNING: Apparently the add-on VIAL is using :SetScript() instead of :HookScript() on Blizzard's nameplates. This will cause many issues with other add-ons relying on nameplates. You should contact VIAL 's author about this.

Using this addon with Kui Nameplates causes nameplates to be stuck on the screen after enemy dies.
Question: I use TidyPlates for my nameplates. Will this addon work fine with it?
You have to move the position of the icons by editing the X & Y vaules. Really easy to do but this addon has a few errors and the author hasn't had time to update it. I am checking everyday as I really want this updated :(
what X and Y valus should we put to put it on the bottom of the health bar?
Yeah he fixed that but now theres new errors and still waiting on a fix.
Now I get:
47x Vial\Vial-1.4.1a.lua:88: Usage: <unnamed>:HookScript("type", function)<in C code>
Vial\Vial-1.4.1a.lua:88: in function <Vial\Vial.lua:76>

cooldown = <unnamed> {}
texture = <unnamed> {}
}
itimer = 0
Sfont = 10
iconsize = 20
tfont = "Vial\tahoma.ttf"
:(
Errrrr. I'll look at this later, I don't really have time now. I don't know what's causing that.
But in the meantime, go and DISABLE your LUA errors in World of Warcraft.
Go to
Interface -> Help -> Untick 'Display Lua Errors'
Very nice addon but I used your fixed for the previous error with Healers Have To Die which works fine but now theres 2 new errors like the person said below me.

Thank you for great addon )))
I have got a warning :
[09:03:35] Healers Have To Die_NPH_NPR: WARNING: Apparently the add-on VIAL is using :SetScript() instead of :HookScript() on Blizzard's nameplates. This will cause many issues with other add-ons relying on nameplates. You should contact VIAL 's author about this.
This addon is definitely one of my favorites. I have one problem though: when a beastmastery hunter pops his stampede, I am barraged by errors constantly popping up on my screen until the stampede is finished. Is this a bug or something wrong with my configuration? I've tried disabling my other addons and exclusively having this one activated but still the same problem.
That's very strange. What does the errors say?
I really can't do anything unless I know what type of error it is :P
I have the addon Healers have to die and with it detected something with this addon that can cause error with other addosn that modify nameplates. here is the message (copying the message in the HHTD LUA file since I didn't copy the message from in-game):
||cFFFF0000WARNING:|r Apparently the add-on|cffee2222", badAddon:upper(), "|ris using |cFFFFAA55:SetScript()|r instead of |cFF00DD00:HookScript()|r on Blizzard's nameplates.
