What is VuhDo? – VuhDo is a raid monitor similar to CTRaidAssist or Blizzards built-in raid frames. Basically this is about displaying the health of raid members in form of clearly arranged bars. VuhDo is primarily directed to healing classes, but will make use to almost any other class. Moreover several healing spells or other actions can be asserted to mouse clicks on those bars (Click-Heal).

What VuhDo can do:
1. Display all relevant informations about your raid members
- Life,
- Mana, other types of power
- Debuffs
- Range
- Incoming Heal
- Aggro
- Threat
- HoTs
- Charmed status
- PvP status
- Tooltips (for race, class, level and current location)
- Player Tags (such as afk, disconnected, dead)
- Shields

2. Casting
- You can heal, decurse, target, assist or focus raid memers with just one click
- You can bind any usable item and any macro to mouse clicks
- You can assign up to 40 mouse click combinations to cast on raid members
- You can assign up to 16 keys to cast when mouse over
- You can automatically fire your trinkets and instant casts whenever cooldown is over
- You can automatically resurrect and decurse players out of combat

3. Set up the raid
- manage main tanks (CTRA/ORA compatible) and personally selected players.
- Setup who is raid lead, assistant and master looter
- Check who is one of the above

4. Buffing
- You can easily keep track of all of your buffs
- You can rebuff automatically chosing the most suitable spell and target
- You can smart buff your raid automatically selecting missing buffs

Special Features:
- Up to 10 independent raid member panels
- Completely free arrangement of raid members: You can move any group to any position in any panel:
You can select to see your groups by class, group number role or any combination.
Easy group arrangement via Drag’n’Drop.
You can additionally setup to display Pets, Vehicles, Main Tanks, private Tanks.
A panel setup wizard lets you setup most common settings with a few clicks
- You can store different skins and arrangements of panels separately
Supported standards / Compatibility:
- CTRA/oRA: Main Tank setup / resurrection monitor
- libSharedMedia: Fonts, Statusbar textures
- Masque
- Clique

To be absolutely clear VuhDo is still fully supported and will continue to see bug fixes / new features.

Below we have archived the parting message from Iza @ EU-Gilneas, the original creator of this amazing addon:
2014-04-25: I (Iza) am sorry to announce that I'm not
going to further develop or maintain VuhDo anymore.

I haven't been actively playing wow for some years
now and lately - as you might have noticed -
my efforts (and also interest) in maintaining and
developing WoW addons tends to zero, so I'll be
gone for good I guess.

Thanks to a fine community for the great times
and for sharing all the uncounted ideas and suggestions
which finally have made VuhDo what I believe is a decent

All the best to you & keep it going,

If you enjoy using VuhDo please consider a small donation for Iza.

I'm experiencing a problem where the Shield Bar (enabled in Threat / Incoming) is displaying on the wrong side of the Vuhdo frame:

    Shield Bug    Smaller Shield

In this, the blue on the left is the shield, however it should be on the right side. Note that because I have incoming heals limited to frame size, the shield does shrink to the size of the missing health pool, shown in the second image. Because of this, it suggests that it is growing out of the wrong side of the bar (anchored left growing right instead of the other way) but is scaled correctly.

I'm not sure if this is a bug or if I messed up my settings in some place. Help would be appreciated, thanks.

  • #13960

How have you set up your health bar bouquet? Can you show a screenie of your Options-General-Indicators?

  • #13963

It seems like it was just a weird occurence. I went through vuhdo and compared the default setup (set through a new profile) with my setup and could not find a single setting that would allow me to reproduce this bug. With that, I just completely remade the bars identically following my old settings and now it seems to be gone, seen below is it working correctly.

Not sure what was causing it, but I guess it is working now. Thanks for the help.

  • #13962

That is weird. End result wise, it looks like you're manually trying to add total absorb or overshielded to the health bar bouquet and reverse its direction independent of the health bar itself and right now direction is tied to the indicator itself, not the individual flags.PIcture wise, this is what it looks like:

I am not sure if this is what you're actually doing, doesn't sound like it to me from what you're describing, but that's what it looks like end result wise. I know I don't have this issue with the blizz absorb bar in vuhdo so when I get on I'll check the health bar bouquet and post the screenie so you can maybe compare.

Are you in any chance trying to reverse direction on any of the indicators (using More next to it?)

There's my settings, my health bar is done pretty standard, just a solid one. If you look at the shield in the image, it seems to be even farther off than in the original two images (note that this shield was not an "overshield", it filled less than my full health). The shield style that I'd expect is the one shown on the player frame, with it extending from my current health pool.

Also, I should mention I'm on Vuhdo 3.44, and I'm not sure exactly when the error first started (I started noticing it especially when I made a brewmaster and guards were flying around).

I have a little problem to make a Target group. Lets say I want to heal someone that aint in my party. If I then target that player I want him to show up in the targetwindow I have made. It do work, so I can heal him in the same way that I can heal ppl in my party, but the graphics are not there, its just a little gray box inside the group that says "no target"...

What am I doing wrong?  I have tried to look in a lot of guides, but can't find anyone mention this. Healing ppl not in my party happens a lot in world pvp.

  • #13958

Options-Move!, create new panel, add group, choose Special and Private Tanks. Then make sure you go to Options-General-General-Filter and uncheck target from there. The no target shaded box is from focus which is premade so you can re-acquire it during combat and still click-heal on it. You can make it disappear by checking Options-General-General--Hide Panels-Empty Buttons and Empty. If you just want to do away with the focus altogether, check Focus to filter it away in the same options pane.

  • #13997

Tnx for the reply and sry aboute the late reply from me :)   it works but its still the same "non graphic" showing up though.  :)

I'm sorry but this is not a VuhDo error. Wow tends to blame random addons for tainting this and that. Try disabling all other addons but VuhDo to see if it persists. VuhDo is no no way trying to join battleground or something.

Yeah this isn't vuhdo related. i've seen it reported even with no addons:

The profiles of Vuhdo are bugged. When loading profiles to edit, they will overwrite the current profile. The only way to solve this is create a dummy profile which you don't use, edit the ones you use while in the dummy profile and "overwrite" them.

The main reason I am struggling with this is loading profiles according to group sizes. I have 5 profiles: Dps:5 Dps:10 Dps:15 Dps:25 Dps:40. Now when I am in a party and I want to configure Dps:10 the profile Dps:10 gets the layout of Dps:5 and you are unable to revert it. Neither clicking apply nor save nor okay are working properly.

Also when editing a profile must load on a certain group size, it actually only get loaded when GROUP_ROSTER_UPDATE is fired, so you cant view your changes.

Some annoying stuff that I would like to get explained/fixed.

P.S. If you want me to look into it (I have quite some experience with AddOns) then feel free to message me.

As far as I know, if you're in a 5 man but you want to make changes to your 10 man profile you always have to switch to your 10 man profile first. Whatever change you're making are applying to whatever is the current profile. So either right click on the minimap icon and choose 10 man profile or go to Options-Tools-Profiles, choose the 10 man profile and click Apply. Then make your changes as desired and hit OK. Make sure while you're doing this people aren't actively joining/leaving group because that will prompt the auto-profile enabler that loads based on group size to kick in again and switch your profiles to whatever the appropriate one is currently and you don't want that while you're making changes.

Close your options screen. Right click on the minimap icon and from the dropdown menu select your desired profile. Are you getting a prompt?
