What is VuhDo? – VuhDo is a raid monitor similar to CTRaidAssist or Blizzards built-in raid frames. Basically this is about displaying the health of raid members in form of clearly arranged bars. VuhDo is primarily directed to healing classes, but will make use to almost any other class. Moreover several healing spells or other actions can be asserted to mouse clicks on those bars (Click-Heal).

What VuhDo can do:
1. Display all relevant informations about your raid members
- Life,
- Mana, other types of power
- Debuffs
- Range
- Incoming Heal
- Aggro
- Threat
- HoTs
- Charmed status
- PvP status
- Tooltips (for race, class, level and current location)
- Player Tags (such as afk, disconnected, dead)
- Shields

2. Casting
- You can heal, decurse, target, assist or focus raid memers with just one click
- You can bind any usable item and any macro to mouse clicks
- You can assign up to 40 mouse click combinations to cast on raid members
- You can assign up to 16 keys to cast when mouse over
- You can automatically fire your trinkets and instant casts whenever cooldown is over
- You can automatically resurrect and decurse players out of combat

3. Set up the raid
- manage main tanks (CTRA/ORA compatible) and personally selected players.
- Setup who is raid lead, assistant and master looter
- Check who is one of the above

4. Buffing
- You can easily keep track of all of your buffs
- You can rebuff automatically chosing the most suitable spell and target
- You can smart buff your raid automatically selecting missing buffs

Special Features:
- Up to 10 independent raid member panels
- Completely free arrangement of raid members: You can move any group to any position in any panel:
You can select to see your groups by class, group number role or any combination.
Easy group arrangement via Drag’n’Drop.
You can additionally setup to display Pets, Vehicles, Main Tanks, private Tanks.
A panel setup wizard lets you setup most common settings with a few clicks
- You can store different skins and arrangements of panels separately
Supported standards / Compatibility:
- CTRA/oRA: Main Tank setup / resurrection monitor
- libSharedMedia: Fonts, Statusbar textures
- Masque
- Clique

Honorable mention:
2014-04-25: I (Iza) am sorry to announce that I'm not
going to further develop or maintain VuhDo anymore.

I haven't been actively playing wow for some years
now and lately - as you might have noticed -
my efforts (and also interest) in maintaining and
developing WoW addons tends to zero, so I'll be
gone for good I guess.

Thanks to a fine community for the great times
and for sharing all the uncounted ideas and suggestions
which finally have made VuhDo what I believe is a decent
addon.

All the best to you & keep it going,
Iza

I shouldn't be so excited over an update to an addon..... but I am!!!

Thanks again for all the hard work!
  • #4842
I love that you are very responsive to the community. And I for one love you (not in that way hehe). But in that you show great concern for others thoughts. And also how best to progress in your work by their interactions with you. I just wanted to drop by and wish you all the best.
  • #4840
    hi
love this addon, I'm using it for both healing on my priest and tanking on my pally.
I have few issues on the tanking side of things. I know it is not primarily for tanking and this might not be a priority but would love to get some feedback:
    - is there a way to assign agro meter to health bar color? so it would go from green by orange to red based on threat rather than % of health?
    - i'm currently monitoring agro by using agro bar on top of health bar. agro bar is scaled to have 20 height and i've noticed that clicking on it doesn't launch assigned click actions. clicking on health bar works, clicking on agro bar doesn't. can this be changed so clicks launch on both bars?

    thanks
  • #4841
    Hi,
thanks a lot. In current version you can't set health bars to threat %. I'm currently adding a lot of customization options, which will allow to set almost any icon/statusbar to whatever you want. I plan to do that with all statubars, but not all at once. So this is very likely to be possible in future releases but not for the very next.
  • #4843
    thanks for replying :)
any feedback on my second point? can it be done to have assigned spells cast by clicking on aggro bar rather then health bar (actually anywhere in the frame not just health)?
  • #4850
No, I'm sorry. The "Button" consists of bana and health bar. Threat bar is "above" the button.
  • #4832
    Heya...

I totally agree with the compliments in these comments - I find Vuhdo to be an excellent healing tool, and almost couldn't imagine playing without it.

An issue that I have been having of late is that left-clicking units in my "private tanks" and "main tanks" panels no longer causes the spell I have bound to the left-click to fire. Alt-left-click, right-click, wheel up, wheel down... everything else works fine, and left-clicking also works fine in the main party/raid panel.

Is this perhaps a misconfiguration somewhere on my part? I am terribly confused...

Anyway, many thanks for a really, really useful add-on!

    :-)
  • #4837
    Hi
thanks a lot. Please read my comment to the post below (2.). This is a glitch/bug and wil be fixed next update.
  • #4830
    Hi there,

First of all, I must say, this is an awesome add-on. I used to use Healbot, and VuhDo is incomparably better, giving you much more control while still being simple to set up.

That being said, a question and an issue.

    1) I am now leveling a bear, and I would like to use VuhDo for threat management. Clearly I can have the aggro-pulling group members highlighted, but is what is the command I would need to use in the spell menu to target their target with a single click? Alternatively (or, in fact, preferably), how would I use a macro so that in in one move I could target the player and then do '/target targettarget' to acquire their target for growling or Faerie Fire?

i.e. if I have the 'Taunt' macro, is it possible to first target the aggro-puller, and then fire off Taunt, which would target their target, and Growl/Faerie Fire?

    2) When in 5-man on my main, a healadin, if I focus on the tank (which I do, so that I could cast spells on him while moving, using keys), he shows up in the tank frame twice -- once as tank, and once as focus. Furthermore, I cannot click-cast Holy Light on the 'focus' unit bar (though it works fine on the tank unit bar). Whenever I try to cast Holy Light, which I have bound to my right mouse button, I simply get a 'spell not ready' message. Other spells work fine, and it not a problem in raids either, only in 5-mans.
  • #4836
    Hi,
    thank you very much.
mouse/hostile and use them on target frames. There's a list with other commands below the edit boxes. To target a target from the unit frames a macro like "/target [@vuhdotarget]" should do.
mouse. Actually it's a glitch in VuhDo. Workaround: use spell names only or make a macros which can handle both hostile and friendly targets:
    /cast [@mouseover,help] HealSpell
    /cast [@mouseover,nohelp] NukeSpell
  • #4824
Always have to say I love using this on my resto. You did a fine job =). One thing I have noticed, but its very rare. Is that once a party disbands from Dungeon Finder groups, that the party names stay. Even when you are not in the group anymore. Even using the textual command to leave a party tells you that you are not in one. Yet Vuhdo shows the old party members like you are. Like I said this is rare but has happened to me more than once. Also may I suggest something. The showing of agro is nice however in a raid most are usually within said agro. And it is understood tanks will take the most damage. Though say for example someone in the raid is taking more damage than others, essentially at high risk of death. Could a special highlighting of their frame be used to note higher heal priority.
  • #4829
    Hi,
bars, apply to all after). It will "flash" people getting a massive amount of damage based on the health % they had left before. So it will flash for people losing a massive amount of life when they werde full of life before and as well for people who got little damage but were already almost dead before. Please try the "sensivity" slider to find the optimal setting for you.
  • #4834
Noticing I have this enabled but in very high heal situations I have possibly dismissed the flashing. Not sure how. Is there a way you could add color highlight or flashing as a damage option. Color highlighting would be easier to see for me. And I feel I wouldn't be the only one to say this.
  • #4833
oh awesome i must have missed that setting. you must read minds before they even think it hehe =)

And about the problem it has shown them for over 10 minutes without going back to solo mode. Knows because after one DF I had to brb to get lunch came back 10 mins later. And it said I was still in a DF group when everyone had left before. Will try the suggestion to see if itll slap it silly and fix =)
  • #4835
With next update there'll be a whole new concept of configuring anything. I'll maybe add some features for this too, but it basically means I have to recode good parts of VuhDo so this may be not in the one or two first releases.
