What is VuhDo? – VuhDo is a raid monitor similar to CTRaidAssist or Blizzards built-in raid frames. Basically this is about displaying the health of raid members in form of clearly arranged bars. VuhDo is primarily directed to healing classes, but will make use to almost any other class. Moreover several healing spells or other actions can be asserted to mouse clicks on those bars (Click-Heal).

What VuhDo can do:
1. Display all relevant informations about your raid members
- Life,
- Mana, other types of power
- Debuffs
- Range
- Incoming Heal
- Aggro
- Threat
- HoTs
- Charmed status
- PvP status
- Tooltips (for race, class, level and current location)
- Player Tags (such as afk, disconnected, dead)
- Shields

2. Casting
- You can heal, decurse, target, assist or focus raid memers with just one click
- You can bind any usable item and any macro to mouse clicks
- You can assign up to 40 mouse click combinations to cast on raid members
- You can assign up to 16 keys to cast when mouse over
- You can automatically fire your trinkets and instant casts whenever cooldown is over
- You can automatically resurrect and decurse players out of combat

3. Set up the raid
- manage main tanks (CTRA/ORA compatible) and personally selected players.
- Setup who is raid lead, assistant and master looter
- Check who is one of the above

4. Buffing
- You can easily keep track of all of your buffs
- You can rebuff automatically chosing the most suitable spell and target
- You can smart buff your raid automatically selecting missing buffs

Special Features:
- Up to 10 independent raid member panels
- Completely free arrangement of raid members: You can move any group to any position in any panel:
You can select to see your groups by class, group number role or any combination.
Easy group arrangement via Drag’n’Drop.
You can additionally setup to display Pets, Vehicles, Main Tanks, private Tanks.
A panel setup wizard lets you setup most common settings with a few clicks
- You can store different skins and arrangements of panels separately
Supported standards / Compatibility:
- CTRA/oRA: Main Tank setup / resurrection monitor
- libSharedMedia: Fonts, Statusbar textures
- Masque
- Clique

Honorable mention:
2014-04-25: I (Iza) am sorry to announce that I'm not
going to further develop or maintain VuhDo anymore.

I haven't been actively playing wow for some years
now and lately - as you might have noticed -
my efforts (and also interest) in maintaining and
developing WoW addons tends to zero, so I'll be
gone for good I guess.

Thanks to a fine community for the great times
and for sharing all the uncounted ideas and suggestions
which finally have made VuhDo what I believe is a decent
addon.

All the best to you & keep it going,
Iza

Good, thank you -- I'm still trying to acquire a reliable way to reproduce it. It happened again yesterday in a 10-man arrangement in Strand of the Ancients. In my second group, just the last two players had health bars that were about 75-80% of normal width when fully healed. Just in case I didn't believe my eyes, they got aggro at some point and had the red frame around them, so I could really see that they were full health (I was overhealing them at the time) but not full width compared to the rest of the units in their group.

I'll see if I can come up with a reliable method...
  • #4564
When I first log in, Vuhdo is using whatever arrangement I last logged out using, rather than automatically running the check for group size and auto-loading the appropriate arrangement for that group size. This is an odd bug to randomly show up again, I remember you correcting it months ago. Hopefully no other setting bugs have appeared that I haven't found yet :/
  • #4569
    I will check this...
  • #4571
I may have missed this one because I toggled the "hide when solo" option when it first came out, even though it was redundant with my "solo" config auto-loading anyway. With "hide when solo" enabled this is of course a non-issue.
  • #4588
You can debug this solo simulating any number of raid members with the following non-documented command:
    /vd debug x
where x the number of raid members.
BTW: Couldn't find a flaw. After /rl the correct arrangement was loaded.
  • #4563
re: below: saw 1.251 is out. Retested, the bugs I listed persist in that version.
  • #4561
a couple bugs as of 1.250

config. I use custom (de)buffs to track tank cooldowns including DK's bone armor, which is often in place out of combat. It'd be nice to see the missing buff colors supercede anything else.

    arrangements?

HoT icons are definitely not specific to the current skin.

Hope the above made sense, I rewrote it a couple times to try and make it more coherent. Let me know if you need more info.
  • #4568
    Hi Venoman,
    1. The way you use custom debuffs is a bit special. Originally it is intended to show some rare occasions for people who need special treatment quickly. I don't think it would be a good idea for most people to overwrite it with missing buffs colors.
    2. Yes, hot settings are only stored in spell assignments now. You can read it in the change log. The vast majority of people use it for exchanging layouts between toons of different classes and so had their hot slots filled with HoTs the other class didn't know. So if you want to engage a HoT slot setup save different spell assignments.
  • #4570
    1) ok, your call there. FYI, even though the top priority colors are the custom (de)buff colors, the top priority ACTION on click-cast (out of combat of course) is still to apply buffs if they're missing. That's a little incongruent to me, having it show one thing and do another, which is part of the reason I mentioned it.

    2) Unless I'm missing something, different spell layouts only auto-load based on spec, so that doesn't help me unless I wanted to open up vuhdo options and select a saved key layout every time I join a group, which I don't.

I guess I wasn't very clear before, so I'll try to be more terse: your 1.249 update says "Existing arrangements will have to be overwritten". That's inaccurate. Arrangements from pre 1.249 cannot be used, even if they're re-saved: they glitch the way HoTs are saved and configured.

The solution would be starting from scratch, which I'm not cool with. I guess I'll sit on 1.248 until a WoW patch forces me to upgrade. My HoT list now includes random entries like "fountain of light" anyway, which makes no sense (I'm a druid, for one). Anyway thanks for the reply.
  • #4577
Since you're a tank and don't need to display hots, why not just use hot slots to display your tank cooldowns. You got 6 hot slots + 3 hot bars and you can use them all to display whatever tank cds you got. That way you don't have to muck around with priority display on debufs.
  • #4579
I only tank 5 mans, because it means an instant run anywhere, and me tanking means a better shot of it going well. My raid spec is resto.
  • #4599
But that's ok. You can have different hot arrangements for different specs. And have it automatically switch them based on your spec.
  • #4572
I'm also surprised to hear the idea that no one else thought to display their HoTs differently depending on their group size and configuration. It makes a big difference:
    http://img192.imageshack.us/img192/939/40302904.jpg
  • #4573
I'm currently having the choice to hear complaints from people using the same layout on different classes vs. complaints of people having different HoT configurations for the same class... *sigh*
I think I'll have to make it optional...
  • #4580
sorry I didn't mean to sound like I was complaining :(

I'm on 1.248 and after resaving everything a few times I have my configs working how I like them again, so it's no big deal :)
