What is VuhDo? – VuhDo is a raid monitor similar to CTRaidAssist or Blizzards built-in raid frames. Basically this is about displaying the health of raid members in form of clearly arranged bars. VuhDo is primarily directed to healing classes, but will make use to almost any other class. Moreover several healing spells or other actions can be asserted to mouse clicks on those bars (Click-Heal).

What VuhDo can do:
1. Display all relevant informations about your raid members
- Life,
- Mana, other types of power
- Debuffs
- Range
- Incoming Heal
- Aggro
- Threat
- HoTs
- Charmed status
- PvP status
- Tooltips (for race, class, level and current location)
- Player Tags (such as afk, disconnected, dead)
- Shields

2. Casting
- You can heal, decurse, target, assist or focus raid memers with just one click
- You can bind any usable item and any macro to mouse clicks
- You can assign up to 40 mouse click combinations to cast on raid members
- You can assign up to 16 keys to cast when mouse over
- You can automatically fire your trinkets and instant casts whenever cooldown is over
- You can automatically resurrect and decurse players out of combat

3. Set up the raid
- manage main tanks (CTRA/ORA compatible) and personally selected players.
- Setup who is raid lead, assistant and master looter
- Check who is one of the above

4. Buffing
- You can easily keep track of all of your buffs
- You can rebuff automatically chosing the most suitable spell and target
- You can smart buff your raid automatically selecting missing buffs

- Up to 10 independent raid member panels
- Completely free arrangement of raid members: You can move any group to any position in any panel:
You can select to see your groups by class, group number role or any combination.
Easy group arrangement via Drag’n’Drop.
You can additionally setup to display Pets, Vehicles, Main Tanks, private Tanks.
A panel setup wizard lets you setup most common settings with a few clicks

    Hello, I just started using Vuhdo everything is all good except I can't seem to get any of the hot icons to show up on each of the frames. Like when I set riptide to and of the 7 spots none of them show the riptide buff on the frame and same goes for when i set earth shield on any of the spots that icon never shows up either. Please help me figure this out I've been trying for hours on this to get it working, by googling any answers and trying different things in-game. Any help would be appreciated.

    Hmm, that's mysterious. Normally this should work out of the box. Please check options=>colors=>hots, make sure every hot slot has a decent color and opacity > 0 (click the color swatches). Make also sure to either use predefined hot from the list in options=>panels=>hot icons or that spelling and character case are correct. If still no gain: Exit game, run reset_vuhdo.bat in vuhdo addon folder.

    Small problem

    My main tank window stopped showing both tanks in the 25 man run. I have looked over and over but cannot seem to locate what I have done. A related issue may be that the main group panel refuses to put the group in the requested order of tank>dps>heal and even with me checked off as first it still moves me elsewhere.

    I keep a tank profile and a healer profile.

    Please check options=>move, make sure that there's a panel holding the group "special=>main tanks", also make sure to press "apply to all" after you've selected bar order in options=>panels=>general. Also make sure to set it to "grouped" instead of "loose" and that options=>general=>general "Filter" options are disabled. Player roles may not be detected properly unless a role check has been performed.

    Vuhdo Profile loading on solo

    Hi, first of all, this is a great addon you got there and thank you for all your hardwork.

    I have a question, it has probably been asked before, but I have no idea how to filter these many comments and replies in a short amount of time.

    Anyways, here's my situation:

    I am playing a priest, and I have 4 profiles total: heal 10, heal 25, shadow 10 and shadow 25. I've enabled both heal and shadow 10 to show when i'm solo as well as in a dungeon or 10man raid and in my respective talent spec. However, whenever I'm soloing the frame just doesn't show up, and since I'm still pretty green at this addon, I have no idea what else I might have missed other than enable the "1" in profile setting.

    Please check options=>general=>general, make sure Hide when "solo" and/or "group" is disabled. If that doesn't work try /vd reset to reset panel positions.

    Hi,

    ich bin schwer beeindruckt von deinem Addon ;) ! Vielen Dank dafür!

    Ein Problem habe ich allerdings:
    Teilweise erscheint mitten im Kampf das Original Blizzard UI (etwas kaputt) und verschwindet erst wieder out of combat. Bisher fällt es mir vor allem bei Bosskämpfen auf und speziell da, sobald einer/der Boss(e) down geht oder wenn sich die Gruppe während des Kampfes ändert (Pets, Leaves, etc.).

    Sieht so aus:

    Wenn du die Blizzard Raidframes überhaupt nicht brauchst kannst du sie auch komplett deaktivieren (muss pro Char 1x ausgeführt werden):

    /run DisableAddOn("Blizzard_CUFProfiles")
    /run DisableAddOn("Blizzard_CompactRaidFrames")

    Hallo,

    vielen Dank. Ich nehme an, Du hast Optionen=>Allgemein=>Sonstiges "Standard UI verstecken" alle auf "Hide" eingestellt? Leider ist es Fremd-Addons im Kampf nicht möglich, Unit-Frames zu verstecken oder zu verändern. Bitte auch mal andere Addons prüfen, die dies tun (Pitbull etc.) und ggf. in den VuhDo-Optionen alles auf "Leave alone" zu lassen.

    Ich bin mir zwar nicht ganz sicher, weil ich von den Blizzard Frames überhaupt nichts benutze, aber ich glaube diese beiden Befehle sollten nur die Raidframes ausblenden. Bzw. auch die Gruppenframes, wenn du "Gruppen wie Schlachtzüge anz." in den Interfaceoptionen aktiviert hast. Rückgängig machen geht so:

    /run EnableAddOn("Blizzard_CUFProfiles")
    /run EnableAddOn("Blizzard_CompactRaidFrames")

    Dass Addons wie Auctioneer oder DBM nicht daran schuld sind, würde ich nicht sofort sagen. Bis vor kurzem hat z.B. AuctionMaster auch noch Probleme (taint) bei den Blizzard Raidframes verursacht. Und das nur, weil AuctionMaster die UIDropdowns von Blizzard benutzt hat. Die sind so schlecht programmiert (waren es schon immer), dass sie bei normaler Benutzung schon Probleme in vielen anderen Bereichen (eben z.B. den Raidframes) auslösen.

    danke für die schnelle Antwort!
    Ich habe beide Einstellungen (Leave Alone & Hide) getestet und bei beiden tritt dieses Problem auf. Als zusätzliche Addons habe ich nur Auctioneer und DBM installiert, die eigentlich nicht ins UI reinfuschen sollten.

    Blende ich mit den Befehlen
    /run DisableAddOn("Blizzard_CUFProfiles")
    /run DisableAddOn("Blizzard_CompactRaidFrames")
    sowohl Party-, als auch Raidframes aus? Wie siehts mit dem Player- und Petframes aus? Und wie mache ich das notfalls wieder rückgängig ^^

    Re: using a special action button

    I am trying to make macro on H Sha of Fear for the "champion of light" buff which can be passed by use of the special action button. My goal is to get it to one click through vuhdo.

    In general the mechanic outside of vuhdo is targeting a player and using the button blizzard gives or a keybind with a simple macro. When I have used the action button before in macros it is "/click ExtraActionButton1"

    I normally use "/cast [target=vuhdo] Healing Touch" in macros with casted spells (such as with the natures swiftness macro):

    So I tried: "/click [target=vuhdo] ExtraActionButton1"

    But it did not work.

    I am guessing "click" funtions differently and I need to just target first? I really have no ability to test  heavily in raid, so I wanted to see if I could get a solid answer here.

    Yes you need the /click command which is just equivalent of pressing the button. If you wanted to cast that extra action button ability on your mouseover try

    /target [@mouseover,help,nodead]

    /click ExtraActionButton1

    and that should work.

    Under the buff panel, there are options to show colors on who doesn't have your buff (in my case, arcane brilliance).  I remember there used to be a filter as well to filter out melee (which I used before brilliance had crit in addition to intel).  But now that option to filter is no longer there and my vuhdo still keeps melee from being shown whether they have arcane brilliance or not.  Am I doomed to have to do a clean reinstall?  Or is there some way I can get that setting removed?

     

    Edit: I think I may have found the part in the vuhdo.lua file from the saved variables folder.
