What is VuhDo? – VuhDo is a raid monitor similar to CTRaidAssist or Blizzards built-in raid frames. Basically this is about displaying the health of raid members in form of clearly arranged bars. VuhDo is primarily directed to healing classes, but will make use to almost any other class. Moreover several healing spells or other actions can be asserted to mouse clicks on those bars (Click-Heal).

What VuhDo can do:
1. Display all relevant informations about your raid members
- Life,
- Mana, other types of power
- Debuffs
- Range
- Incoming Heal
- Aggro
- Threat
- HoTs
- Charmed status
- PvP status
- Tooltips (for race, class, level and current location)
- Player Tags (such as afk, disconnected, dead)
- Shields

2. Casting
- You can heal, decurse, target, assist or focus raid memers with just one click
- You can bind any usable item and any macro to mouse clicks
- You can assign up to 40 mouse click combinations to cast on raid members
- You can assign up to 16 keys to cast when mouse over
- You can automatically fire your trinkets and instant casts whenever cooldown is over
- You can automatically resurrect and decurse players out of combat

3. Set up the raid
- manage main tanks (CTRA/ORA compatible) and personally selected players.
- Setup who is raid lead, assistant and master looter
- Check who is one of the above

4. Buffing
- You can easily keep track of all of your buffs
- You can rebuff automatically chosing the most suitable spell and target
- You can smart buff your raid automatically selecting missing buffs

Special Features:
- Up to 10 independent raid member panels
- Completely free arrangement of raid members: You can move any group to any position in any panel:
You can select to see your groups by class, group number role or any combination.
Easy group arrangement via Drag’n’Drop.
You can additionally setup to display Pets, Vehicles, Main Tanks, private Tanks.
A panel setup wizard lets you setup most common settings with a few clicks
- You can store different skins and arrangements of panels separately
Supported standards / Compatibility:
- CTRA/oRA: Main Tank setup / resurrection monitor
- libSharedMedia: Fonts, Statusbar textures
- Masque
- Clique

To be absolutely clear VuhDo is still fully supported and will continue to see bug fixes / new features.

Below we have archived the parting message from Iza @ EU-Gilneas, the original creator of this amazing addon:
2014-04-25: I (Iza) am sorry to announce that I'm not
going to further develop or maintain VuhDo anymore.

I haven't been actively playing wow for some years
now and lately - as you might have noticed -
my efforts (and also interest) in maintaining and
developing WoW addons tends to zero, so I'll be
gone for good I guess.

Thanks to a fine community for the great times
and for sharing all the uncounted ideas and suggestions
which finally have made VuhDo what I believe is a decent
addon.

All the best to you & keep it going,
Iza

There isn't a way to do this currently. The workaround I use is this: If you click a unit frame and use vuhdo's menu to assign that unit to a role for which you aren't currently displaying a panel, the unit is still moved to that hidden panel, in effect hiding it.

For example, I don't actually display a "private tanks" panel since I have no need for it - anyone I want to keep an eye on I designate a melee tank. If a person is offline but left in the group/raid, and I decide I don't want to see them any more, I assign them as a private tank. Boom, they're hidden.
  • #2500
filter setting checked for the role you are assigning the player to.
  • #2491
I found a minor bug, possibly. In Buff Watch I had fear ward set on one of the other players in my 5-man group, but accidentally switched it to the player's pet. I don't know if that part matters, but I mention it in case it does make a difference. Anyway, after we finished the instance and I left the party, I noticed that my Fear Ward was still targeting that pet until I manually switched it back to myself. I think expected behavior would be for VuhDo to reset targeted buffs to the player any time the group size is 1, or perhaps a minute or two afterward to allow for quick relogs or other temporary changes while grouped up (leaving a group and immediately rejoining, for example). Thanks!

The error reads like your setting for the width of a specific panel is garbled, and the panel can no longer be properly created. The solution is to run reset_vuhdo.bat in vuhdo's directory. This will delete all of your settings, including the faulty one. You will have to set up everything from scratch again, but this will correct your problem.

Great addon but i have a problem....i am a druid healer and i move around alot...when i stop to cast sometimes it won't let me cause vuhdo seems to think i am still moving....which causes me to miss heals....very annoying anyone know a setting to fix this little problem?
  • #2483
That would have absolutely nothing to do with vuhdo. It sounds like you are lagging.
  • #2485
it only happens with vuhdo :( clique and raid frames or healbot and its fine
  • #2487
vuhdo doesn't try to assess whether you are capable of casting a spell - that has nothing to do with its functionality. The assigned mouseover and click casts through vuhdo's interface are nothing more than shortcuts - it's no different than a mouseover macro or something. If it "seems to think you are moving", what you're referring to is a WoW error on screen that says "can't cast that while moving", or something similar. That's lag.
  • #2488
alright guess i have to stick with healbot since i don't get this issue with that...thank you very much for your replys
  • #2492
It's entirely possible that Healbot has enough delay between your click or keypress and when it actually does the spell cast command, that it works. In other words maybe Healbot lags just enough to match your actual internet lag and so two wrongs are making a right. I don't know if this explains the difference. But if it does turn out to be the right explanation, VuhDo could add a setting to delay spell casts by a tiny amount, like one to 10 milliseconds, not enough to feel slow but possibly enough to correct this problem for players with high latency.
  • #2505
i don't really have high latency...unless you think 100 to 120 is high =\ and heals with standard raid frames is fine if it was a problem with lag i should get it with the raid frames which i don't...only vuhdo...pretty much tried everying... disabling mods....even a reinstall..nothing when vuhdo is running i get that problem....wish i didn't cause its prolly the best healing tool i ever seen.
  • #2513
Sorry to hear that. The one helpful thing I can think of is to tell you this. Uninstalling and reinstalling VuhDo does not reset everything. You have to actually locate and run the reset_vuhdo.bat file... that's a necessary action if you're trying to wipe out a suspected bug or corrupted data and try the addon with a clean slate. Give that a shot and see if it clears up the problem. Other than that all I can say is that no one else has reported a similar issue that I recall.

I'm new in Vuhdo, I want to know how to put like a tank of my raid in the frame '' Main Tanks''...
  • #2480
"main tank" is a designation given by your raid lead, similar to master looter or main assist. If your raid lead doesn't normally tag the tanks that way, you'll want to use a "melee tank" panel, and manually assign players to that role.
