What is VuhDo? – VuhDo is a raid monitor similar to CTRaidAssist or Blizzards built-in raid frames. Basically this is about displaying the health of raid members in form of clearly arranged bars. VuhDo is primarily directed to healing classes, but will make use to almost any other class. Moreover several healing spells or other actions can be asserted to mouse clicks on those bars (Click-Heal).

What VuhDo can do:
1. Display all relevant informations about your raid members
- Life,
- Mana, other types of power
- Debuffs
- Range
- Incoming Heal
- Aggro
- Threat
- HoTs
- Charmed status
- PvP status
- Tooltips (for race, class, level and current location)
- Player Tags (such as afk, disconnected, dead)
- Shields

2. Casting
- You can heal, decurse, target, assist or focus raid memers with just one click
- You can bind any usable item and any macro to mouse clicks
- You can assign up to 40 mouse click combinations to cast on raid members
- You can assign up to 16 keys to cast when mouse over
- You can automatically fire your trinkets and instant casts whenever cooldown is over
- You can automatically resurrect and decurse players out of combat

3. Set up the raid
- manage main tanks (CTRA/ORA compatible) and personally selected players.
- Setup who is raid lead, assistant and master looter
- Check who is one of the above

4. Buffing
- You can easily keep track of all of your buffs
- You can rebuff automatically chosing the most suitable spell and target
- You can smart buff your raid automatically selecting missing buffs

    Another idea about out-of-range members. I really appreciate VuhDo's BuffWatch showing me that raid members are out of range before I buff. However, it is frequently true that only 23 out of 25 members (for example) are going to be in range before the next fight. VuhDo now tells me that 2 are out of range and that is good. However, this prevents me from seeing who else needs buffing out of the 23 who are near to me. This usually leads me to buff by default, possibly wasting reagents, because I don't know if the unbuffed players are among the near ones or the out-of-range ones.

    So, a proposed solution: the buffwatch display could read like:
    X/Y -Z
    Or better, a tiny bar display colored all green when everyone is in range and buffed, or otherwise it shows segments. If everyone is in range and buffed, again, it's all one green bar. If anyone is out of range, a proportional segment of the bar shows a different color (let's say grey). If anyone is in range but needs buffs, a proportional segment of the bar is yellow or red to show that this many people are low or completely out. Or even a further refinement: a thin, sharp dividing line on the bar if anyone is OOR, with all in range to the left of the line and all OOR to the right. Then among each half the colors of each fraction of the bar are assigned according to fully buffed vs. low vs. out. I know that sounds complicated but my eye would be able to read and understand it instantly.

    Maybe that is too much work but it's something to consider even if it's a feature for 1.2 or later.

    The reasoning behind this: what would be wonderful is a little bit finer-grained information. Right now if anyone is out of range you can't tell what else needs to be done. The result, at least for a Priest, is you burn 3 more candles just to get the buffwatch to be OK again but you have very little idea whether you just buffed five people or eleven people or what. It might have been a very efficient candle or not at all.

    One more for the wish list: If you hover over each buff in the buffwatch frame for a minimum time (configurable) or maybe if you right click or some other thing, the player bars in the health frames show borders or pulsing icon overlays indicating who exactly is missing those buffs. This is not strictly necessary because most healers try to avoid the need for buffing players individually. However - !! -- if we could see that the only players missing buffs are the ones who are AFK back on the stairs, we would not burn that extra candle! THAT is the whole point I am reaching for with all of this.

    Maybe when I get some more free time I could offer to help out with the code or I could save you from some work on the tooltips (thanks, by the way, for working on them lately)! Meanwhile, thanks and more thanks for an addon which is is probably going to be the first to get 5 of 5 stars...

    These are marvellous ideas. Just copied them to a separate text file (to not occasionally lose them). It will be a huge amount of work though. I'm currently trying to feature-freeze VuhDo, because I'm going on a hollyday trip in a few weeks. But next winter is ahead :)

    While we're talking about buffwatch - I personally find the panel itself to be redundant. Out of combat, unbuffed players are color coded, and in combination with the range check that's plenty for me. I currently drag the buffwatch panel off screen so I don't have to see it, but of course I leave buffwatch enabled so that the "unbuffed" frame colors still kick in. You may want to consider adding an option to hide the panel for those that don't use it.

    Wow, your addon looks really nice.
    I used to use Healbot, but in some terms its just to simple and unflexible...
    Now I am very happy with VuhDo, its just a nice outfit and so many possibilities for configurations. It looks like the next Generation Heal bot for me :)
    But there are some questions I have:

    1. I cant finde an option for fade out members (make them transparent) that are out of range or inaktiv, like in healbot. Does such an function exist?
    2. Is it possible to chance the number of Colums in a pannel? (because i added 5 groups to the pannel, and the fifth is in another row).
    3.Is it possible to Show "Targets" just for a spezific group (like Maintanks)?
    4.So my last point is maybe a little bit spezial, but i got often in Raids the probleme, that members are out of range and i dont see in witch direction they are. (searching in the minimap is often the only way, but this takes time...
    So my question is, if there is a function like "Ping my VuhDo-target on the minimap for me" or "show me an arrow pointing to him" or something like that, witch could help me locating out-of-range-members ?

    So thank you alot for this addon and your help.

    Not much to say other than thank you, thank you, thank you! Vuhdo even makes great raid frames for non-healers (I"m a Spriest main-spec, and I think the unitframes/raidframes are just gorgeous in Vuhdo).

    Hi Iza, fisrt of all i have to say thanks for your work, its a great addon and is what i was looking for.
    but i dont like the "clique" system included in the addon, i want to disable the mouse options and let mi mouse work like normal interface. do you have an option for that?...

    Hi,
    if you mean to target a player when clicking on a bar, just type "target" (no quotes) into spell assignment edit boxes. There's a list with all possible constants below. (e.g. you might set right-click to "dropdown")

    HI, been using you're addon for months now and really enjoy it, after the last weeks with ToC I have notice that it will not show the debuff Lord Jaraxxus gives called Incinerate Flesh. is there anyway to set that?

    ok so I thank you immensely for making it so names could start to the right of the bars but this one last thing and i can make it exactly how my current frames are. could you make it so the name text and the hp text are positioned independently from each other? i have the names starting to the right of the bars and the hp on the inside right side of the bar. the only thing that is preventing me from doing something like this with vuhdo is the hp text is locked to the name text.

    Placing the name text to a different position from life text would require a lot of additional screen estate in options screens (which is rare these times). So, I'm sorry but I have to decline your request.
