About WeakAuras
WeakAuras
WeakAuras is a powerful and flexible framework that allows you to display highly customizable graphics on your screen to indicate buffs, debuffs, and a whole host of similar types of information. It was originally meant to be a lightweight replacement for Power Auras, but it now incorporates many features that Power Auras does not, while still remaining more efficient and easy to use.
Features include:
- An intuitive and powerful configuration interface
- Custom textures including all textures from Power Auras and the new Cataclysm spell alerts
- Progress bars and textures that show the exact duration of auras
- Displays based on auras, health, power (mana, rage, soul shards, holy power, etc.), cooldowns, combat events, runes, totems, items, and many other triggers
- Preset and user-defined animations
- Custom side-effects such as chat announcements or sounds
- Grouping, which allows multiple displays to be positioned and configured at the same time
- CPU optimizations such as conditional loading/unloading of displays, modularity, and prevention of full aura scanning
- Powerful customization options, such as animation paths, on-show/on-hide code, and custom triggers, for Lua-savvy users
To open the options window, type "/wa" or "/weakauras"

- 1.4.0 is released! Many new features were added, including:
- Auto-cloning: a feature available for multi-target, group, and full-scan Auras that will automatically duplicate your display to show multiple sources of information
- Dynamic Text options for Progress Bar and Icon displays
- A Circular growth option for Dynamic Group displays
- Specific Unit options for all triggers that use a Unit option - this allows you to watch only a specific group member, or use the boss1, boss2, etc. unit IDs to watch bosses
- A new display type, Model, which allows you to display any 3D model from the game files on your screen
- Third-party addons can now define pre-made displays that can be quickly and seamlessly integrated into your configuration

Anybody else have a problem where you can't click to install a weakaura pasted en chat? if I copy the whole string there's no problem, but chat isn't working
Im haveing problems with Cooldown ready (spell) im using it for Blood Fury and Dark Soul Missery. Well i am using an icon and once i make it both icons dont show. once i use them and they come back of cooldown it shows i can use them. but when they go back on cooldown the icon stays active and the confuses me. what am i doing wrong
same thing, although for me I'm having problems with the button glow (show/hide event actions)

There are 2 auras found by this name, but it simply wont show... since he dosent show as a buff... i am really annoyed with this. Can anyone help out?

Great addon, thx. However when I try to track the "Invoke Xuen, the White Tiger" remaining time, it doesn't work under "Aura", and the "Status" only tracks for Cooldown time, which is not what I want.
Hey! This is the best addon, seriously. I replaced two other addons with Weak Auras, and yours does everything they did and so much more! Great job, and I donated $5 to help the cause! :) Wanted to let you know about a small bug. When selecting buttons to flash in the Right Action Bar and Right Action Bar 2, your dialog mis-labels them as Left Action Button. No biggie, just distracting.
I was wondering, is there a way to do a custom alert for when the target is receiving heals? As a hunter, I have a shot for reducing received heals, and I'd like to show an alert.
One suggestion too. When I select a Weak Auras icon to flash, the action of clicking the icon to select it moves the icon's position on the screen. It's rather pesky LOL! Could you disable moving icons when the flash selection cursor is active?
And one final question. Is there a way to select the actual group frame to flash instead of the items contained within the group? I have a dynamic group of text alerts, and I'd like to flash the frame instead of the text alerts themselves (they are hard to read when they are flashed).

I got WA working, set it to in combat, != 0
The problem is, if I get out of combat with any shadow orbs, then get back into combat,
it only appears AFTER I get another orb, so once I get back into combat, I have no idea
how many I have to work with right off the bat, how would I fix this so as soon as I get
into combat it shows how many shadow orbs I have already, without having to get a
new one to make it reappear?

It seems to be appearing auto in combat if I'm mounted, but not if I'm not??
I've had my WA strings get wiped out twice now in the past two months. It's not fun having to go back in and re-do all of my strings again, especially when they work one second and disappear as soon as I pull a mob.
It is possible to create a bar for Skull Banner with ticking from 10sec to 0sec ? I´m playing a DK and would like to have this for better timing my cooldowns. Every attempt ended to show me the aura but not a left time. Could some one help me ? ty

I am simply doing my dailys and just before I got the Bug I logged in and did a simple Aura for a Friend which he needed to see his Moonfire Dot. Something I can do in my sleep. I created it, send it via Guild chat. Later I duplicatet it and made one fore Sunfire, send it, then deleted both. Now I get this message. Everything seems to be working but I get that message.
I will update and report back.
Figured it out myself:
If you delete an Aura that you send to another Person WeakAuras can't find it when they klick on the Link and throws a LuA-Error.
