About WhereIs Update
MoP Update
This update includes data from the MoP beta. Future upates will be provided for any updates.
This simply provides the latest data updates for the WhereIs addon. Install this addon as normal. When you enter the WoW world you will be reminded to type /wi update. Or you can select the Run Update Utility from the options menu. (right click on the WhereIs golden globe)
If you play both Horde and Alliance, then you will need to run this utility twice. Once with any Horde character and once with any Alliance character. This is to save memory if you only play one faction.
Currently the Alliance faction data is more complete than Horde. To correct this issue, further updates are planed.
Changes made with this update are:
- Deletes NPCs removed from game
- Because Wing Nga has changed location in Halfhill. This update will stop WhereIs from being treated Wing Nga as a travelling NPC
- Still adding missing NPCs for both Horde and Alliance from previous expansions.
- More mailboxes added. (This is the only way to get mailbox info as WhereIs can not automatically find "new" mailboxes)
- Raid locations updated.

Sorry, I was not looking here for comments. That error means your saved variables file is corrupt. type /wi check. The addon will try to fix the errors.
Please keep the updates coming.
This could be amazing, if it's ready for Mists of Pandaria launch.
Playing the beta, and adding data, could make this a "must have" addon.
It looks great as it is and I'll be giving it a try, soon.
Future data updates are planned. And Pandaria is on my To Do list.
